Welcome back for another CDP powered by clean energy, and today we’re taking the world by storm to feature the new Radiant Typhoon support revealed for Burst Protocol. If you missed my first Typhoon build using just DOOD stuff, be sure to check it out here: https://youtu.be/u-Ii1CFe2co . Now that you’re back, let’s talk about this new LINK-2 they received in Radiant Typhoon Varuroon, the Sea Spirit (YGOrg Translation). On Summon, the Sea Spirit tutors a copy of Mystical Space Typhoon [MST], then whenever a Quick-Play Spell is activated, it places Radiant Typhoon Mandate onto your board. Both of these are big for consistency, giving you consistent access to the MST-Negates Trap and an additional draw each turn. They also will receive a new Quick-Play Spell in Radiant Typhoon Elation (YGOrg Translation), which Special Summons a Level 6 or lower Radiant Typhoon monster from the GY. Now these new Radiant Typhoon cards are great, but they definitely don’t take away from the original combo of the Level 3 monsters, Radiant Typhoon Eldam and Radiant Typhoon Swen, and their ability to make R3NK Xyz Summons!
That’s where our Materiactor friends come in – they’re here to seal the duel, get even more disruption, and make the most of free material. Materiactor Exareptor is up first, summoning itself from the hand then tutoring Prima Materiactor, then when you later Special Summon Materiactor Zeptwing from the hand, you’ll get that Prima back from the GY for a second R3NK summon. Of course you can combine them into Number F0: Utopic Future Zexal, but you also have Materiactor Exagard and Xyz Armor Torpedo as well which can join forces. This deck also got significant TCG-WP support lately in Dragon Gate, which can overlay on top of a R3NK Xyz Monster to be a serious OTK threat, as well as Xyz Lay, an Equip Spell that can quickly boost a monster to absurd ATK once you stack tons of material onto Exagard. Combine this with the other disruption available to the deck, and you have a potent recipe for victory!
