We need more Synchro D/D/D. Otherwise, this is a pretty neat card methinks.

Yes, they did. And it’s been a constant the last 2 years that the cover them gets support in the next set too, so it’s senseless to complain about this card, when itwas completely expected.

I’m going to disagree with you on this guy being mediocre on the grounds that he’s an effect type shy of being D/D/D Lubellion; yeah, sure, he CAN recycle some Contracts if he’s banished to make Arc Crisis, but where he’s really going to shine is recycling himself and another monster to make any one D/D/D Fusion Monster you want — he’s a valid Fusion Material for absolutely all of them and able to be made with basically anything you’ve got.
Alternatively, have him throw his own mats back into the Deck to make the original Genghis and congratulations, you now have High Caesar mats (one of which will happily act as yet another extender in the brief while before you make Caesar).
The only problem he has, if it can even be called a problem at this point, is that he’s doing this by an ignition effect instead of a trigger, but D/D doesn’t quick-fuse anyway so outside of him falling into a hole this isn’t much of an issue.

Problem is the Extra Deck is still only 15 cards.. we really don’t have room to run all the good engine pieces and all the good end board pieces.
at this rate any archetype from the “Arc-V” era won’t get any new support, yet again “Arc-V” is a very weird era of the game.
Did you forget Lunalight, by any chance? That got a fresh batch of support only two packs ago, including — as though it needed it — an upgraded form of Leo Dancer that’s even more of a Towers than Leo was already trying to be.
I’ve just gotten to the point where I don’t read D/D cards and when my opponent tells me what a card does I just believe them

Great card, but another Extra Deck slot lost. I wish we had cards that could combo with Chaos King Apocalypse to be able to play during the opponents turn
