Question is, new monster for the mechanics or support?
I’m still waiting for news on this year’s maze set as it has replaced the older animation criminals sets, and theirs still a large number of unreleased cards yet to be printed.
It’s most likely just gonna be the Slifer Red GX pack, plus whatever imports we’re still missing., and then a bunch of useless reprints nobody asked for, and the typical “DM retrain” deck theme.
The Maze sets seems to mainly focus on classic DM-era decks and moments that previously were heavily undersupported or barely existed. The three remaining duelists from that era that never got anything are Lumis/Umbra, Panik and lol Bonz.
If we could only get a Maze set near October we might have a chance at a Pumpking archetype

they just said 60 diff cards, doesnt mean they’re new. (just in case lol..)
This set has been having just 6 new cards lately. So I expects this year’s set to have 1 monster of each summoning type. Hopefully they’ll be from specific themes and not monsters just focused on supporting their summon type generically.
eeeeh :/ thats lame if thats true lol. Come on atleast they should give 2 per mechanic. I remember one of these end-of-year products’ theme had 2 new cards per ‘series’ (1 for protag 1 for rival) Doesnt hurt to get that back huh..
Also, agree on the last thing, hopefully from anime duelists. Lets not say protag or rivals, but duelists who need new supp the most. hehe :p
Llast year it was the Dragonmaids, PUNK and Orcust themes -2 cards each
If it is anime themes again I hope the Ritual related card is finally a retrain of Dark Magic Ritual as Chaos Magic Ritual that Ritual summons a “Chaos” Spellcaster Ritual monster by tributing monsters who’s levels equal the Ritual monster’s or by tributing 1 “Dark Magician” from your hand or Deck and the Ritual Summoned monster’s name becomes “Magician of Black Chaos” while on the field. Then you can banish one other Spell in the GY and shuffle Chaos Magic Ritual from your GY into your Deck to add a “Chaos Scepter Blast” from your Deck or GY to your hand.
For Fusion it would be nice to finally get E-HERO Twinkle Neos or maybe the missing WIND/WATER Evil HERO fusion.
Can’t think of what from Yusei I would want to see for Synchro. Would be nice to see a Majestic ROse Dragon, though. That’s all I can think of right now.
i jsut want a master magia…i literally don’t care about the rarity, can be a common for all i care
