It’s time for the Continuous Trap Olympics!

Strategic Summary:
Today’s CDP was in response to a request to combining all the prevelent Continuous-Trap Monster themes into one strategy, so hopefully you’ll be happy with the result! The Argostars archetype consists of two Level 4 Warriors that support a suite of Continuous Traps that Special Summon themselves from the backrow as additional Level 4 Warriors. Argostars – Glorious Adra is up first, as it can be banished from the field to place 2 Argostars Continuous Traps into your backrow, such as Argostars – Lightning Tydeu and Argostars – Swift Capane. Next, Tydeu summons itself from the backrow by discarding a card, tutoring a new Argostars card in the process, and your plays will progress from there. In the Duelist Advance core set, the theme also received a new R4NK Xyz Monster, Argostars – Adventurous Arion, that tutors an Argostars Spell on summon, giving this core engine an amazing amount of consistency. That’s not all though, as That’s 10!, the Continuous Spell card, counts your card/effect activations, as once you hit 10, it returns itself to the hand to set a Continuous Trap from deck that can Special Summon itself. Ideally, this is your bridge between engines, letting you access all the rest of the Cotninuous Trap themes!
Next up in today’s strategy is the Tombkeeper, or Odion deck. This deck leverages Temple of the Kings and Treasures of the Kings to set Apophis Continuous Traps to the backrow, then activate them (even sometimes the turn they are set). Once you do, the Apophis Traps can be converted into Divine Serpent Apophis, a Fusion that will re-set Apophis Traps from the GY, and enable you to destroy a card the opponent controls when a Trap is activated. The other avenue you can explore is the Eldlich archetype, led by Eldlich the Golden Lord and his Golden Land Continuous Trap Cards. While I am not running a large Eldlich engine by any means, his newest Continuous Trap, Eldixir of the Glorious Golden Land allows for the deck to recover its banished Conquistador of the Golden Land, allowing for a few additional combos to generate card advantage. At worst, Eldlich itself can be converted into Fallen Angel of the Golden Land, which in turn gives you an indestructible 3800 boss in Eldlich the Mad Golden Lord whenever it goes to the GY! Embrace Trap Hell and turn it into your personal heaven, with this Trap-tastic strategy!
