      Interesting, so it seems like instead of normal yugioh anime, we get these card game stories as anime shorts?

        Technically, they’ve been doing it since April of this year.

        And so, according to Konami itself, they don’t consider Animated Shorts to be real Animes (but rather something complementary) and that they’re a marketing tool to promote Packs.

        It seems like Card Game Stories are not connected to actual anime, it just so happens that all the involved parties decided to take a break from full anime – Japan is getting GX remaster as kind of replacement, but even that is streamed online at some weird hours.

        We need to wait for next Jump Festa to see what they are planning for 2026, probably.

        To Pablod: yes, I do know that it started on April of this year, but I thought they are only going to do Sky Striker and Albaz stories, I thought it’s just one time thing, so I didn’t think they are actually continuing to do more of these anime shorts.

      Huh, so I guess the story of Albaz will be cut into smaller bits and spread around, with other stories being stuck in between? I’m actually very okay with it, I don’t think that we need year+ of constant legacy support for Albaz and like 15 other series and archetypes that were involved in that story.
      Also, I love Charmers so yay!

      1) I hope this means “Familiar-Possessed Dharc” will finally get an alt art
      2) I hope Lyna and Dharc get their upgraded familiar cards. I’m thinking “Happier Lover” and “Awakening of the Possessed – Happiest Lover” for Lyna, and I have no idea how Meda Bat would be upgraded… Maybe “Umbra Bat” and “Awakening of the Possessed – Abyssal Bat”?

      I have no idea what the “Meda” in Meda Bat is supposed to reference

      I really hope we get backstory finally for each of them and hopefully confirm the theory that Elemental Mistress Doriado was their teacher/mentor.

        Same. This has always been my head-cannon, and would love for it to be proven right. Maybe even touch on how Doriado was corrupted and how they were responsible for changing her back.

      No Dharc or Lyna? Come on!

      I wouldn’t be surprised if each of the original four get 1 episode apiece. I hope they’ll be fairly long ones, unlike the Sky Striker ones.

        @ScionStorm only a DT anime on the technicallity of Wynn and Winda being sisters (dunno if this was ever actually confirmed to begin with)

        It might as be considered its own anime and not a DT one

        Wynn being part of the Gusto family is confirmed as official lore in the Duel Terminal Master Guide. It states she didn’t like being tied down by her family and left the clan. Its some of the only official lore the Charmers have ever been given.

      So… This looks like they might animate the archetypes from the 25th anniversary video… If that’s the case, then we’ll get Melfy, Blue-Eyes, Zeus, Solfachord and Six Samurais.
