Unbanned many things, its so good when it happens, there are a lot of cards that could be freed and yet have no impact

Waiting for butterfly dagger elma and metamorphosis to get errata’d and unbanned so i can actually summon guardian elma and elemental hero bubbleman.
There’s some options to summon Neo Bubbleman. I forget if it’s the same for Elma, since she works differently.

Game is already ass with them in. Can’t imagine how bad the solitaire would be if you couldn’t even hand trap.
Would they REALLY limit Ghost Sister & Spooky Dogwood? That’d probably be the only hand trap they’d let stick around at 3, since LP aren’t such a big issue unless you play Vaalmonica or something.
Hand Traps, (with a few exceptions), are your friend, not you enemy.
for fire king. people were actually asking for dogwood to get hit. but this was specifically from competitive players and only because dogwood messed with the time rules and cheesed wins.

Because this game without them would be just dead. Everything would be just FTKs and Turn 1 unbreakable setups, there would be no reason to play past coin flip.
Dragon Rulers are back… same can’t be said for their baby forms, still stuck on the list in some fashion.
…Maybe some day we’ll get the missing 3 Supreme Dragon Rulers (the XYZ variants of the Dragon Rulers).

Fiendsmith got spared relatively speaking entering the CRBR meta, but yeah Branded, Yubel, and SE all got significant hits.
Also good to see many legacy cards finally being removed from the list. Trimming the fat is always a good thing.
I really wish hand traps would get hit and or hit big combo decks. The gane needs to be slowed down. I prefered a game lasting 15 turns not 2
This take is so stupid. If they hit handtraps at this point, the game is gonna be straight up solitaire. There are too many decks that can play for 20 minutes and set up a near unbreakable board at this point. They won’t ban 1-2 cards of every single deck released in the last 5 years. If you don’t like it, play edison or MTG or whatever.

Yes, having your turn invalidated sucks… but it suck much less than games being decided by coin flip because everything released in last 10+ years can either FTK you or setup unbreakable field with multiple interruptions. You can play coin toss without Yu-gi-oh!, really.
CRBR already slowed the game down and drastically lowered the power level. This list hits that point home tbh by either taking out or greatly weakening the power level of SE, Tenpai and Yubel (all 3 being combo/FTK decks). The best/most represented deck right now, Ryzeal, isn’t even a combo deck (not even the Fiendsmith variant).
We’re in a mid-range format, with the only real threatening combo deck being Maliss atm.
Also, outside of Shifter and Droll, most legal hand-traps are fine in practice imo. Believe it or not, they’re the main things keeping the format in check right now and actually create back-and-forth game scenarios.
