Welcome back for another profile, this time taking the Voiceless Voice deck out for a pure spin. Last time I covered the Voiceless in a casual build alongside Herald of Perfection, so be sure to check that out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2praN2YtwRs . I heard your feedback on that video loud and clear – build it pure instead… so I did!
Speaking of the Voiceless, this LIGHT Ritual theme aims to Ritual Summon LIGHT Warriors and/or Dragon monsters. From its own archetype, Skull Guardian, Protector of the Voiceless Voice offers an omni negate as well as the ability to tutor any Voiceless Voice Monster when Ritual Summoned. That said, summoning this or any LIGHT Warrior/Dragon Ritual will allow you to trigger the GY effect of Lo, the Prayers of the Voiceless Voice, a Level 1 LIGHT Fairy that can be treated as the entire tribute for a LIGHT Ritual Summon. When summoned, Lo also places a Voiceless Voice Continuous S/T from your deck on your field, giving you access to one of four powerful support cards. First up is Barrier of the Voiceless Voice, which protects your LIGHT monsters from attacks or card effects while you control Lo and a LIGHT Ritual. Additionally, it gets to tutor a Voiceless Voice card each turn. The second option is Blessing of the Voiceless Voice, which recovers any Voiceless Voice cards from your GY or Banishment, as well as triggers a Ritual Summon when any non-Ritual is Summoned. Third is Radiance of the Voiceless Voice, a Continuous Trap that can tutor any Voiceless Voice monster or destroy cards your opponent controls, up to the number of LIGHT Rituals you control. Finally, the theme has since received another Trap – Guardian of the Voiceless Voice (YGOrg Translation), which can empower a Ritual Monster to gain ATK equal to the total original ATK of all other monsters on the field. Additionally, when a non-Ritual Monster you control is destroyed, this Trap will Special Summon the OG Skull Guardian to your field!
All of these effects are awesome at ensuring an extremely consistent playstyle, with the Voiceless cards endlessly extending the game, turn after turn. If your Skull Guardian can’t do the trick alone, you can even turn to Odd-Eyes Pendulumgraph Dragon to negate a Spell and/or Saffira, Divine Dragon of the Voiceless Voice to give you an extra LIGHT monster from your GY every turn. Don’t forget the original Sauravis, the Ancient and Ascended, which can negate a targeting effect while in the hand or negate a Special Summon while on the field! Prepare for the Rites of Skull Guardian, with the Voiceless Voice!
