(2) Once per turn, if you control the equipped monster: You can add 1 “Wedju” card from your Deck your hand, except “Grief Tablet”.
(3) If this card is sent to the GY because the equipped monster was destroyed: You can inflict 500 damage to your opponent.

Ok, so what can it search besides Shrine?
There are 2 other Tablet cards used in the same duel – Rebirth Tablet and Mirror Tablet. We don’t know if they will be printed in the future, whether in this pack or in Rage of the Abyss. It’s strange though as this card searches a Field Spell that, while thematic to Bakura’s deck, is actually Shimon support.
Other cards with 石版 in their OCG names are Hieroglyph Lithograph, Gravekeeper’s Stele, and Mystic Probe. Sacred Stone of Ujat also uses 石版 in its name but is anime-only for now

石版 that this card searches for has forced reading, and it is ウェジュ Weju. All the card you have listed have their 石版 read as せきばん Sekiban, making them illegal search targets.

@anya: what card belong to what archetype due to spelling difference baffle me. Is there a case of it in reverse? Like card with same kana spelling but different kanji
Mystic Probe made me think about that series of traps and I just realized what a nonsensical localization “Armored Gl*ss” is instead of Gl*ss Armor. How do you look at the artwork and effect and still go with a translation like that?
@Hyoroemon “Centurion” is the first archetype that came to mind — they’re all read as センチュリオン but have differing kanji representations.

Maybe, but then again we never got Volcanic Mine despite the Bomb Token on some newer support being based on the Token that debuted on Mine.
Interesting that they put this card as 01 in the Set – above Duke of Demise rather than after it alongside Spirit Illusion which indicates that whilst it was played by Bakura in the anime, they intend for it to be part of the new Exodia Fusion playstyle.
I can see the other two tablets being released in Raging Abyss.
I accept the above explanation for the weird slot and reveal. DM theme must have DM crossover card it seems so no ultimate unsealing ritual technique business. Funny how they’re implying Bakura stole Shimon’s cards. I expect ROTA to have neo new wall of illusion and a GO wedju card. Though in this case the monster turned into a wedju doesn’t become a con. spell.
Real talk (putting aside sorching), ygo doesn’t reward you much for using “soft removal”; I’d like if these sort of cards had the target monster unable to prevent direct attacks.
