      At first I thought this was going to be some weird VR version of Duel Links, but now I don’t know what it is. Seems like a tech demo for now?

        Yep. Most likely a single player focused that has story with multiplayer since its VR as i think also it wont be just Duel Links but VR, its closer to Kaibas wet dreams though.

      Okay am I the only one now that konami makes real world vr duel-gazers and duel disks, because if they do by 2026, hell I can kiss my bank acount goodbye, and can say hello to a 65.99% increase in duellist numbers.

        Probably true. Maybe they’ll AR link it, like the special board you can duel on changes depending ok n the field, duel monster avatars float above their cards when played, and will even do attack or effect animations.

      Finally we are reaching this point to emulating the game closer to what was shown in the manga and anime.

      Sadge we just cant yet make the damge real so i can invite my friends to a shadow duel.

        First, Mixnmatch it doesn’t take a genius to figure what you’re referring. Second, OK I’d be lying if I sed that I didn’t hope we get that duel disk and gazer idea in real life, Maybe give it a tutorial function for amateurs learn to play and one on how to use it. Probably not going to get a player increase like that but I can say that it is a wish that I hope to see, and Imagine if konami actually develop the technology to make actual hard light holograms, achon, or turbo duelling stadiums, but intil then, I’d be happy to see duelling being added to the Olympics.

      today’s stream seems like it was focused solely for the investors, we have VR are and AI, they don’t do anything and always fail but investors sure love their buzzwords

      sadge they are burning the money that Master Duel generated in a dumpster while not addressing any of the major problem the game has.

      Eh, I don’t care about VR compatibility. Price point is still a bit too expensive. All I want is a new Legacy of the Duelist game in time for the 30th Anniversary in 2026. Arc-V alone has like almost 10 more duelists that should be in the game by current year. At least 1 more from Vrains. 4 for Zexal. I think maybe 2 from 5Ds. Not sure about GX but DM is definitely got some duelists that should be added. Master Duel is nice and all, but I want to duel with the anime characters.

        Yeah, because Duel Links mechanics are exactly the same as Legacy of the Duelist and there’s abasolutely nothing different between Duel Links and the OCG.

      I know it’s duel links, but I hope they have the 5 card spaces for the monster zone and 5 spaces for spells/traps. Also, I hope they add some form of Capsule monsters and dungeon dice monsters; that would look amazing.

      I think I agree with the lot above, maybe we need to start forgetting about duel links and and just start investing so should konami ever release real duel disks, we can get them. By the way I actually like that zapping you idea, let’s hope if konami make real duel disks they put in a joy buzzer like function to simulat real damage, well to a towned down extent at least.

        Hmmm… Looks cool. But I’d much rather prefer Vrains’ VR settings – it looks more futuristic, the UI system aren’t as complicated as Kaiba’s solid vision, the cards keep their original design look (again, unlike Kaiba’s), and you can surf on DUEL BOARDS!! Not to mention having an AI as partners.

      With this I hope they also look into creating an app that works with the Apple version and basically treat them as dual gazers allowing us to duel ppl anywhere in real life with augmented reality
