All of the milling! ALL OF IT!

Strategic Summary:
Let mass milling commence with today’s Creative Deck Profile, this time featuring the new Lightsworn [LS] support wave, and boy, is this a fun deck. The LS theme was the original way to mass mill cards to the GY, as many LS monsters include an effect to send the top few cards of your Deck to the GY. However, none is more effective than Garoth, Lightsworn Warrior at doing so. You see, Garoth gets to send 2 cards of your own to the GY, each time another LS monster you control sends a card(s) from your Deck to the GY, drawing you 1 card for each LS sent. While Garoth had been phased out in the past, do not sleep on him now, as he can be triggered by each of the new cards. Let’s start with Dragon of Lightsworn (YGOrg Translation), a new Level 4 LIGHT Dragon that can Special Summon itself from the hand when you have any LS in your GY. When it is Special Summoned, it sends any LS card from the Deck to the GY, and when it is sent to the GY, you can tutor Judgment Dragon or Punishment Dragon. The other new Main Deck monster is Weiss, Lightsworn Archfiend (YGOrg Translation). This Level 4 Tuner can place a LS card from your hand on top of the deck to Special Summon itself and mill 2, giving you a great way to trigger those drawn Wulf, Lightsworn Beast or Felis, Lightsworn Archer. Additionally, when Weiss is sent from the Deck to the GY, you can Special Summon a different LS from your GY, giving you a third LS you will want to get lucky and mill.
Speaking of getting lucky, this deck still relies on an element of luck to mill the cards you need. But if you would like to mill anything and everything, you reduce that luck factor tenfold. This theory is clearly shared by my favorite of the new support wave, Minerva, Lightsworn Athena (YGOrg Translation). This Level 8 Synchro gets to mill LS monsters, up to the number of LS monsters used as material for its summon. Additionally, it can banish up to 4 LS monsters to mill that many cards. Combine this with The Zombie Vampire, Minerva, the Exalted Lightsworn, Tearlaments Scream, Tearlaments Kashtira, Tearlaments Scheiren, Solar Recharge, and Charge of the Light Brigade, and I think you might have enough cards to mass mill your way to heaven. Getting back to Judgment and Punishment, the LS theme has also received a new draconic boss – Enlightenment Dragon (YGOrg Translation)! This Level 10 Fusion is Special Summoned by banishing both of your Dragons, and it carries a Quick Effect to banish all other cards on the Field and the GY. Combine this with Minerva though, and your LS monsters can’t be banished by Card Effects, neat!
Now I’ve talked a lot about the LS side of today’s build, but what’s truly important is all the things you’ll be milling along the way. Whether it is Trivikarma to tutor a Tearlaments support card, Lightsworn Aegis (YGOrg Translation) to give you a mass negate, Vision Resonator to grab a copy of Crimson Gaia, Mudora the Sword Oracle or Kelbek the Sacred Protector to manipulate your opponent’s GY, or any of the Tearlaments monsters to get free Fusion Monsters, the world is seriously your oyster. Heck, even the Horus support monsters can be brought back if you leverage Ancient Fairy Dragon to tutor a copy of Stone Wall of the Imperial Tombs (YGOrg Translation)! Let LIGHT shine through you and vanquish your opponent, with the power of the new and improved Lightsworn strategy!
