Special Engagement to Focus on Art House Theaters and Lead Up to the Film’s DVD Release in the U.S. and Canada
LOS ANGELES – April 11, 2017 – Anime fans who missed the opportunity to watch Yu-Gi-Oh! THE DARK SIDE OF DIMENSIONSduring the film’s first theatrical run will soon get another chance to watch their favorite card dueling characters on the big screen. ELEVEN ARTS,a film production and distribution company known for distributing high-quality animated and live-action Japanese films to North American audiences, has teamed up with 4K Media Inc., the Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. subsidiary that manages the Yu-Gi-Oh! brand outside of Asia, to secure a limited second run theatrical release for Yu-Gi-Oh! THE DARK SIDE OF DIMENSIONS feature film beginning April 14th.
This special engagement of Yu-Gi-Oh! THE DARK SIDE OF DIMENSIONS will focus on indie/art house theaters serving the demands of the film’s loyal fan base in advance of the film’s DVD release this summer. Yu-Gi-Oh! THE DARK SIDE OF DIMENSIONSenjoyed a successful, wide theatrical release throughout the U.S. and Canada on some 500 plus screens in January and February of this year when 4K Media teamed with ScreenVision to handle the film’s initial distribution. The film was also released in the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, San Marino, Monte Carlo, Germany, and Austria. It recently opened in United Arab Emirates and Kuwait, and for the film is coming to theatres in Latin America this month.
