Note:
I’m pretty sure this is a portmanteau of Leviathan, the primordial Chaoskampf serpent of Abrahamic lore that predates the metamorphosis of the Jewish faith into its from post the Babylonian conquests, where it originally more heavily resembled the Marduk vs Tiamat myth.
Also, Baal Zebul (Lord of the Highest Place), the full title of the Canaanite deity Baal, that got morphed into Baal Zevuv, “Lord of the Flies”, later twisted into Beelzebub, another name for Satan or Lucifer, or another demon, depending on the Christian author’s fanfic of the week.
(I’m talking about works like Paradise Lost, Dante’s Inferno, or Demonic Compendiums, not the Bible itself)
Also, “Verz” is the Japanese term for the Steelswarm and Evilswarm themse, and the Steelswarm can be argued to be giant monstrous demonic flies and beetles, and Beelzebub is “The Lord of the Flies”, so…

Dzeef sweep !
Please don’t mention no homo here.
Törr, Why do you not like homosapiens?
New Fiendsmith support look8ng good lmao
Yeah wow these are all pretty cracked for the deck. Also confirms Fabled is the origin of the Steelswarms.
no fabled are the origin of the evilswarm, the steelswarm were a sealed evil kept deep underground that just randomly got out
incorrect, it is revealed they were an evil that got out thanks to two members of the ice barrier, one of whom would go to create the Gishki tribe
You people know that the Evilswarm virus is contained in the body of the Steelswarm bugs, right? The bugs are creatures that evolved to power up with the virus, and the zombie Evilswarm monsters are the just the virus in their pure for,
correction, the evilswarm virus came from steelswarm origin, which was the remnants of fabled leviathan eaten by members of the steelswarm. then when the steelswarm finally die, the remnants of leviathan come out, mutated as the evilswarm virus
Fableds have always been one of the more consistent DT archetypes and that Continuous Spell is too good.
I saw your comment yesterday from Jurrac support. Are you a Konami exec? Lol
Wait, is the cont. spell stackable? I mean it’s not hard opt for for the discard eff??
You can only activate one per turn, but you can stack their effects if you control more than one. It’s like Opening of the Spirit Gates.
Holy Dianaira! That’s bonkers, that’s heck of consistency. Now how do I get to break old Leviathan to get 3 draws a turn….
Now I can update that old janky fabled deck with 3 lava golem and 3 santa claws because both are searchable as f
searchable how?
Just doing everything to circumvent having to Synchro summon, eh? More importantly, a quick, non-targeting, permanent change of heart, that hits multiple monsters. Who actually cares that it negates the effects?
Cuz you can use it as imperm
@user huh? You stole the monster already. What does an imperm matter?
@HFIL it’s a quickie you can use it in a chain to prevent a potentially dangerous effect
ex : Opp used S:P to banish a card. You can chain Leverzebul’s effect to steal S:P and negate the banish
Fablswarm eh? You’re going to need to fit that l in front of swarm someplace. The monster bloat is so great in fabled that I’d rather see 4 new s/ts instead but of course that was never going to happen for the same reason 99% of promos are monsters, more flashy and marketable.
It’s the same with a lot of the early Terminal World themes. They get like maybe 2 back row and the rest is all monsters.
Since it’ll need to work with cards that mention either “Fabled” or “lswarm” I could see them just calling it Fabled Leverzebulswarm to solve the issue and stay somewhat close to the original name
The card is not an “Lswarm” monster. We intentionally avoided that in order to get across the lore implication without including it in the archetype. It does not work with cards that support “Lswarm” cards, otherwise we’d have made that clear in the name a different way.
Where is my qli support!!!!
Came for Fableds, came again for lswarm lore.
How do these Terminal sets work? Are they primarily reprints of like 3 or so archetypes with new support? Then they get released in a pack in the TCG around the beginning of the summer?
4 archetypes, 4 new pieces of support, and reprints.
4 themes related to DT lore
4 new cards per theme, 1 new alt art reprint per theme, everything else reprint
Will be released in Battle of Legends next year
@N what is DT lore?
I hope we get new X-Saber ⚔️support next year 🙏. That deck was such a meance during Edison format
Honestly bro
I wondoer when the other 2 themes will get revealed? Probably next month?
Most likely, we don’t even know what the box will look like
The new fabled boss monster lv 10 can once per turn do permanent change of heart , as minimum. Can recycle itself and give the user 1 fabled card to hand. Pretty darn good. Since it’s not a monster it can give you also the spell/trap from get to hand. So basically fabled gain a way to recycle their spell/traps.
The support is great , especially the new Fabled continues spell card.
This feels like it opens a huge gate and in the future we might see more Fableds support.
I still wanna see a Fabled Queen monster.
not a hard OPT. you can use the link-3 fsmith to revive it to do it again. the link-3 isn’t a hard OPT either, so you can use lacrima to revive it to do it 3 times. 4 if you have the fabled trap.
Why is the trivia section written so weirdly this week?
You dropped your fedora neckbeard redditor
it’d not a lswarm card because the kana reads veruze instead of veruzu
Im seeing alot of confusion surrounding Leverzebul and the lswarm virus, so i thought i’d clarify
Im 99% sure this is the revived Lswarm version of Fabled Leviathan (similar to Evilswarm Thanatos being the revived Fabled Ragin), because its always been hinted that there was an Evilswarm Leviathan of some sorts, since we see his throne in Infestation Pandemic
The Lswarm virus which created the Evilswarms came from the Steelswarm, which we see in Infestation Infection, and in Trials and Tribulations
The Steelswarms themselves were originally released by Revealer of the Ice Barrier (Gishki Noellia) and Judge of the Ice Barrier (Gishki Natalia) to help fight the Fabled
And Steelswarm Origin sure is a LIGHT Fiend that looks like Leviathan’s face covered in mist, so.
Hrm.
OH, i didnt even notice Leverzebul’s mask actually WAS Steelswarm Origin. Perhaps Revealer/Noellia infected the dead Leviathan post Fabled Regicide, and while it was Noellia as Psychelone that commanded the Lswarm, Leverzebul/Origin was who propegated the virus
I think the simplest explanation is Leviathan is also the “Beelzebub”, and is the creator of the Steelswarm (and the Evilswarm Virus) and Noellia got burnt trying to use his creations against him.
But could be he just absorbs the power of the Evilswarm to make himself stronker and resurrect the Fabled as a key player after their failure, becoming its inheritor.
That’s such a big-brain interpretation. You think that’s why Andwraith betrayed and de-throned Leviathan, because he found out Levi was meddling with creating the Steelswarm? I’m guessing Andwraith either couldn’t control them or wasn’t interested in managing them, so he sealed them away.
Noellia later released them and, in DT 2, when Leviathan was resurrected by the virus and Psychelone was cleansed by the Constellars, Leverzebul took over controlling the Lswarm once more, reviving Raging and Unicore in the process as you said
The artwork for these are lit as hell! (Pun intended)
L comments bro 👏👏
They put my mans leviathan in the baal (zebul) stretcher smh
Love the support. But unfortunately they made it workable with fiendsmith. Also they really didn’t tie the swarm cards. Tomorrow is probably last duel terminal archetypes.
I wonder why they made yet another generic L10 Synchro Boss with negation? They should lock it into Fabled to give them a reason to be played.
The Rest is fine but obviously not broken in today’s meta. Tear/Yubel/Fiendsmith/Snake-Eye will keep dominating until everything helping them is banned.
wow my reply got deleted you people are clowns.
I think this confirms a new wave of Light Attribute Lswarm cards.
Why does konami hate vylons so much?
