We have room for one more anime inspired Effect monster in this set. Anything could go, but I am thinking it is either a Yuga card or a unrevealed Dark Matter.
Geist’s valid targets are Miragias, Metagias, Gaigias, Zerogias, Demolisher, Tamabot Burst Dragon, and Gravebronze. It’s cute that this is a Soul Drake clone as Luke’s deck heavily references Kaiba’s.
Twin Edge Phantom Dragon is a probably a tongue in cheek of how many speculate Phantom Luke is actually manga Luke, and how this card is meant to support both versions of his deck.
Dragonic geist looks cool. Sadly it aint regular yugioh 🙁
I feel like Dragonic Geist will find a better place in the Dragonic Slayer Deck because of the synergy there.
And about JP028, I feel like it will be a Yuga’s Deck related card since I don’t think we’ll get any more reveals for Dark Matter until “Dark Matter of Phantoms”.
Geist is obviously designed for Slayer/Demolisher, but I think it also patches up a huge issue with the DARK Strike Dragons, namely how cost intensive they are to summon while maintaining hand size for their effects.
The Deck already had Resolve and 7 Shift, but they were somewhat unreliable and in Shift’s case eats away at the hand.
Fadronir gives them a draw 1 without discarding from the hand. Geist can convert itself and Fadronir (or optionally The Clone) into a Strike Dragon in GY. As the Deck already uses Ship and Charity in their plays, their game plan now is to send them from hand to GY and Special Summon them with Geist.

Seeing as both Nullstrike Dragon Zerogias and Cladsoul Dragon Gaigias have a somewhat harsh Requirement to activate their Effects (both being Manga’s Luke’s Boss Monsters), I think I prefer to spend Twin Edge Phantom Dragon so I can attack twice with my DARK Dragon Boss Monsters.
