Can’t wait to get a Sinful Spoils Complete Files next year.
Also can you imagine if Konami decided to release a Hero complete files and release every Hero card in the game in one set?
I’d honestly bust for that HERO complete files
Except air Neos Sadge
Finally
Okey. Woah. First of all, wtf , Snake-eye support?! Again?!
Anyways, idk what konami is doing with the lore but some of these are truly broken
White forest gets to him by WF Diabell > SS SynchroPoplar from extra > synchropoplar quick synchro to execute dragon
I kind of doubt that snake eyes uses him even before the bans its just so inefficient to make a synch12 in that deck, it was already not worth playing the formula synchron baronne lines
It’s the finish line for the lore archetypes, they all are intertwined at this point
Poplar is the main mascot of this story. Because he is a Snake-Eyes, most of his upgrades are too. Plus the whole place as a Continuous Spell gimmick is precisely how Diabellstar won. Azamina cannot be destroyed by card effects but she can be placed into the Continuous Spell/Trap Zone without targeting and then destroyed from there.
Being honest, snakes eyes got power crept by Maliss and ryzeal and the ban lists anyways it’s for lore because diabellstars little dragon friend is evolving throughout her fights so it’s not a surprise he got a final form, and it forces them to play more white forest cards in extra deck and some in main deck too but I guess they’ll have more space for them anyway kek
They can finally rest just like the World Legacy characters, Unlike Albaz lore which there ending feels like “there’s a new adventure awaits” kind of ending and DT still has mysteries even after the art for Zefra Providence
Just like with Noble Knight Artorigus ending his journey with “Until Noble Arms are Needed Once Again”.
Visas lore is still missing at least two planets and the final act of the main story.
Albaz story is pretty bad. They don’t explain anything. It feels like a prologue than a complete story. Aluber is pretty much “refuse to elaborate -> leave” meme
At least Visas has a really good set up. He finished his story and got bad end, so he started NG+.
Me when my story is like vibeo game
this is actually so disgusting diabelle has gotten like 150 cards in 1 year since its realase. can my lunalights get 1 crumb of support?
But what about Venom, Umbral Horror, Star Seraph or Gouki?
New to Yu-gi-oh! ?
This is how this game works for over a decade – major storyline is going for few years and we are getting cards related to it. Stop moaning.
@Namesky People will always moan when something other than their archetype gets support.
You’ve the nerve to complain for the most supported bracelet girl deck?
No. Suffer.
Diabellstar was the lore character since AGOV and exists because we don’t have an anime protagonist, much like how Albaz and Visas did before her. So like them she is bound to get more support as her cards must replace the anime.
Thankfully this is over now and Chronicles can take its place.
Lunalight is just one of many anime decks that haven’t received new support since Series 11 started. There are hundreds of anime characters and decks to choose from, and we only get 2-3 per set and 3 per Duelist Pack. So 11-15 per year.
Mfw Nephthys
I don’t remember we have child boy on sinful spoil….. Or is he the real identity of Poplar??
But anyway, can’t wait for
card from the aftermath of this climax
child boy? if you meant in Sinless the ghosts are Rucia, Morgan?(the woman in Play the Diabell), and Silvy
actually scratch the Morgan part, that’s Diabell the WF Queen, but why is she there? did i miss some lore?
It’s all over? Wasn’t this story too short compared to the ones of the World Legacy and Albaz? The other stories got more archetypes and support cards.
tbf Visas isn’t very long either
Supposedly this is the end of this series of packs and Duelist Advance is gonna be the start of a new one. Since all packs with Duelist in there name are the first pack of a new Series.
@Joshua Seed
I wonder why they decided to finish this series sooner than the others (missing one expansion) just to go back and give support to decks that have already got countless support like Branded and Sky Striker.
@Linguriboh later this year there suppose to be a new Yugioh anime lore anime call Chronicles that actually animates the actual lore of cards in the game. Sky Strikers and Branded are the only episodes to be confirmed right now.
@Logic Bomb Visas main story isn’t even over. It’s unfinished. Missing two planets and an actual conclusion to the story. Pretty an entire final act to the story is missing.
Yo know right
So…is Diabellstar dead? Or just tired? It’s hard to tell.
I think she is crying. You can kinda see her mouth open. I’m honestly surprised they both survived.
Why do snake-eye, azamina, white forest etc etc get 3 & 4 waves of support but they usually only give other stuff a second wave of support and that’s it. Is this a common trend that Konami does or is this new?
Cause they are part of a story. Those often get a lot of support in a relatively small window in order to tell that story without waiting a decade. Been that way for quite awhile
It’s a lore archetype. Same reason as albaz, world legacy, visas, etc.
It’s been a thing for years now. Even back since Duelist Alliance back in 2014. It’s a long running trend of having a story being told through the cards. We got the Final Arc of the Duel Terminal (Qlis/Infernoid/Zefra/Etc), then we had the World Legacy lore, then Albaz, Visas and now Diabell, and this trend will likely continue with a new story entirely in the following set.
I’m kinda sad that there’s no Goblin Riders being mentioned. Maybe their last card(s) reveal will be later? They helped a lot in this last battle.
More than likely in the epilogue
“Each time your opponent activates a card or effect, all monsters your opponent controls lose 500 ATK when it resolves.”
“Your opponent cannot activate the effects of monsters with 0 ATK.”
This is one of the few times this card would be better if it had counters. Cause, I don’t think this floodgate will work very often.
Masquerade is clearly the superior card.
Actually, it says controls, not currently controls, so does it remember that it reduces your opponent’s monsters? So when your opponent summons a new monster, instead of waiting for another effect to reduce the attack, it just does so? That would make the effect better.
Man when Snake Eye got hit on the ban list there really isn’t a consistent strategy to use these cards apart from the poplar tuner for lvl 12 syncro plays and the Diabellze white forest card which Konami in their infinite wisdom gave her an effect that doesn’t even trigger white forest spells/traps. If it wasn’t for Azamina Elzette all of these cards would be completely useless bulk.
It hard stops Yubel and other 0 ATK monster decks, which occasionally come up but really the effect is solely for the lore. The Diabell monsters get weakened by Azamina so the Trap removes her at the cost of Poplar.
@HFIL it should be currently controls since the attack reduction applies on resolution of a card effect and isn’t being continuously applied.
Finally the story is done. I hope we won’t start next lore deck like snake eyes wave 2 did which was a bit overblown with support. Instead i would personally wish some older decks like Lunalight, Fire Fist, Wind-up, Super quant and other archetypes that have not gotten support since Link vrains pack days some legacy support to bring them back. I tried some and they are plenty of fun to play. Just wish they would be updated.
Like i am a big fan of what they did with Crystron and Gladiator Beast archetypes in SUDA
I feel like if Wind-ups even got carrier back they could be semi splashable fun combo deck and if Fire Fist was not so tied to their link 2 for long combos that end on either FTK or apparently Million disruptions it would be semi competent, but konami seems to be trying to make more lore and anime tied decks in preparation for their animation projects
There will be new story line, it will contain dragons, lolis and robots and you’ll enjoy it. Or we will be back to Fallen of Albaz storyline because it was hinted here and there.
And obviously they not gonna release legacy support for everything at once, they gonna drip feed it because that’s how money is made.. and before someone will start moaning about greed etc – Konami is for profit corporation, their only job is making money. As much as it would be nice to every deck getting new support every other month to keep it meta-relevant, it’s just a dream and it will never happen.
Either way, I hope that next storyline will not be focused on Fusion + Synchro stuff that much. Albaz was mostly Fusion-focused, Visas was varied but later focused on Synchros, Sinful Spoils were again mostly Fusion + Synchros. Let next storyline be focused on XYZs.
@DuckSguised
Calling them broken is a stretch at the moment. The diabellestar spell makes me wonder if they will have some other forms for the two in the next set since it says “level 8 or higher”.
I was confused about the level synchro effect until I realized that it helps fulfill the summoning condition for the snake ey fusion. You then synchro on the opponent’s turn for the level 12.
Crazy how the synchro is another watered down flamberge, but maybe I am missing something or the next-generation set will make it worth it
Whelp, these just cleared out all of the cards I thought I didn’t like in my own White Forest deck. So much for all that planning I had been doing to fill those spaces. New cards it is.
PEAK
I’m so glad Mommy Milkers is safe
Maybe, and let me cope with this, they do it like with Supreme Darkness and tomorrow there’s more lore cards to be revealed, like maybe another usable Goblin Biker card. We also still haven’t seen how Crazy Beast got it’s Sinful Spoil.
Where are the Goblin Bikers?????
They Gone Bonkers 😏
I can see it.
The card will be called in TCG “Goblin Riders Gone Home” and it will just show them riding off in direction of the setting sun like true badass that they are.
That’s what i was wondering too, i was expecting something like at “Goblin biker diabellstar” or something after i saw her as part of their xyz monster in SUDA
With the Azamina destroyed, the curse fades, revealing Gabonga to be this world’s Visas incarnation.
We’ll see them in the epilogue
So finally She is dead, after her suffering R.I.P diabellstar
Diabellstar didnt die. Diabell did. She was the Azamina queen and Diabellstar tuned with Poplar into Execute Dragon and killed her, finally freeing her from the sinfoil/azamina curse so that she can rest now.
Diabellstar and Diabellze are hugging at the end
She will emerge as zombie next set
awesome they are adding support to sinful spoils 😀
Lore aside I think this is the first generic synchro 12 that actually does something on its own.
Onimaru is a vanilla and Crimson Dragon does virtually nothing alone.
Hey i wont take this slander to b’ian made final sigma(its towers given battle protection)
Ban crimson dragon !!!!
Oh, look, ygo finally has the exert mechanic, sort of. Probably something THE World should have had.
One thing I gotta say it would I’d be nice if goblin bikers were more connected to the sinful spoils in their cards too because this story line we focus more on the spell caster and the illusions, and the synchro and fusion but it would be fun to see some for fun builds splash goblin bikers for xyz and fiends but we do have diabellstar 8 that is a fiend but still no xyz gaming. I don’t really know the goblin bikers but they don’t have any azamina synergy or sinful spoils besides sol
Looks like the Sinful Spoils lore will end soon, and we aren’t done with series 12 yet, wonder what will take its place.
Diabellze the White Witch face makes her look psycho. Sinless sinful spoils makes no since. It can’t be both sinless and sinful
She’s always looked like a psycho. That’s why people were surprised that she turned out to not actually be an antagonist.
Love Diabellstar’s new armor, she looks awesome! The sleeping Poplar looks cute also. All these cards have pretty nice effects as expected, hmm wonder if any will get picked up by meta decks… regardless think I’ll experiment with them in my weird White Forest Blue-Eyes ritual deck I been trying to cook up.
