So I want to make sure I understand this correctly. Due to angry burgers effect is this similar to Harpy lady one, Harpy lady teo, and Harpy lady 3 where it is always treated as hungry Burger and thus you can only have a grand total of three of this card and the original hungry Burger in your deck?
Basically yes
To be clear, you can have 2 copies of this and one of the old one, bc they count as hungry burger even inside your deck
Yes, you can only bring a total of 3 of both angry burger and hungry burger. So either 3-0, 2-1, 1-2, or 0-3.
I wonder what ratio for these two is the best
This version is a searcher from hand, so ig 2 for this one and 1 for the other if you want to use it to annoy the opponent, or 3 if you just want the consistency
Or if you really hate your opponents monsters, 1 of this one, and 2 of the other burger
Yeeesss Im so happy the finally got revealed. Not idea if they will actually be good, I just love this deck so much. Wish the Angry Burger design was a bot more demonic tho tbh
These are extremely good for their Deck. Love them so much!
I’m also quite fine that Angry Burger looks as goofy as Hungry Burger does. I glad it maintains that aspect.
I guess the original looked both goofy but also ferocious, but this one doesn’t come off as equally cool, I guess. Maybe the teeth are too many but smaller? Maybe fewer but bigger teeth would be better? Ot maybe the buns are opened too widely?
Idk, still Im glad for the support
I think the big difference is how bright the image is overall and the fact we can like see that it’s just a burger, the original is so dark it feels like it’s hiding something more complex this one is so bright it’s a little off putting, hopefully they translate it as hangry burger here
Light and Fiend!
Welcome to Restaurant Nouvelles Smith!
Oh come on
First seeing a level 1 fire monster gave me ptsd, now seeing any light fiend does the same xD
Love this support!
Also, happy to finally have the guy chef in Monster Card form.
Aaaaaaah, the, French
In france your food eats you
Shame that they made the OG burger obsolete.
Also, the chef also turbos Baelgrill with the added effect making the other rituals a bit redundant as well.
Explaining rule of three to an American:
Imagine a cheeseburger.
They didn’t make the OG burger obsolete, you literally have to play the OG for this new Ritual’s last effect, since it summons a Hungry Burger that has 2000 ATK, and only the OG qualifies for that, as this new burger has 2800 ATK.
The low level Rituals are still Pre-Prep targets. All the low level Ritials (1-4) can activate their effects if targeted by Chef and the Continuous Spell.
Obsolete is only when text is STRICTLY better aka Draco-Utopian Aura vs. my beloved Pulling the Rug.
Check out the last line of text on the effect. It’s not obsolete yet.
Neither redundancy, nor obsolete cards here
You can choose to have the other burger as a kind of garnet in your deck to allow for xyz plays, and quick effect monster removal (the third in a turn now), and the recipe book both gives the other rituals more use, since they basically do damage now every time they proc, and it also incentivises not skipping some of them, because with that you do more damage and remove more cards
@thebaseddd2, that is not an example of “STRICTLY better”. Draco-Utopian Aura cannot hit Kagemucha Knight.
^ Thanks for letting me know. These sort of card interactions fascinate me.
I’ll still be advocating for Pulling the Rug & Swallow Flip support!
Urgh, they are FRENCH!
OMG they make your opp pay 850 LP each time you use the tribute effect of the Rituals! 850 yens per dish! Thats, actually, a very fair price!!
Imean it’s less fair when you’re paying for someone else’s meal.
Solid cards, like, really strong, especially considering that this also makes Fiendsmith a workable engine. Angry Burger always being Hungry Burger is annoying in deck building, but not really a major disadvantage since you already have access to dozens of consistency cards anyway. But playing both it and the OG gives you an additional disruption. making it worth it most likely (Baelgrill tributes to summon Angry, Angry tributes to summon Hungry). Space could become an issue though.
The continuous is just fine, it doesn’t do anything by itself and is just a 1 of that way, but almost everything can search it, making it a good endboard piece.
The Chef is absolutely nuts, not just as searcher or enabler, but against Synchro/Xyz it’s basically a disruption. Instant 3 of in my opinion!
All these cards are really good especially Chef and Angry Burger.
5 effects in 1 pendulum card, that must be the first one
Please god let it be named hangry burger in English
I agree
Gotta channel that Toadally Awesome energy xD
I demand it be translated to “Hangry Burger” in the TCG
As do I!
Burger doesn’t destroy beast-types without applying damage calculation, I sleep.
Please tell me that angry burger Starlight rare card is by fake food and not real food.
For konami its just cardboard, they have 1000s of these for pinnies a piece
Whether these are good or not, the fact we have another card that makes you “foot the bill” in a restaurant after Catch-Of-The-Day is just peak Yu-Gi-Oh!
We need a Nouvelle Guy to challenge the Suship guy.
I wish there was some card in yugioh which would punish your opponent for paying for card effects, becasue with that this could be the most fun annoying deck possible
These solve so many issues with the deck.
I’ve played a lot of Nouvelles. This is pretty solid.
Chef is really good. He fixes a lot of problems, mainly triggering your ritual effects with targeting and potentially setting up board after getting ritual spell Ashed.
Burger is kinda weird because it shared the name of OG, so you can only run 3 in total(?), so idk if it’s still worth playing OG brick for that extra removal, since by the time you get to it, you probably already resolved few tributes + board wide negate/tribute (and if you already counter trap, you get another board tribute on burger summon).
The spell seems like a good replacement for continuous trap, but seems like only an extending tool for good hand.
the burger finally has cheese
