Gizmek Uka, the Festive Fox of Fecundity is a new Secret Rare monster from Eternity Code. Its got three effects, but the most interesting one is the third.
Each time your opponent Normal or Special Summons a monster(s): Inflict 300 damage to them. You can only use each of the following effects of “Gizmek Uka, the Festive Fox of Fecundity” once per turn.
●If a monster(s) is Special Summoned from the Main Deck (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon this card from your hand.
●If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; Special Summon 1 monster from your hand or Deck whose ATK equals its own DEF, with a same Attribute as that monster.
That’s a pretty powerful card, but how do you choose which monster you should summon with it? What should you tech in your deck for a free summon? Sure some good DARK attribute options could be Magicians’ Souls for example with it’s 0 atk and def, but how would you go about finding the list of options?
You can’t simply pop in an attribute into the database, and then say ‘show me everything with the same defense as it has atk’. You’d have to type in both 0 atk and 0 def, then search everything with 50 atk and 50 def, then 100, then 150 and so on all the way up to 5000. Then do it another 5 more times for the other attributes; only for this list to update every time new cards are printed.
With this absurdity in mind, Becasita and I developed a tool to find every card you can summon with this card, and are making it available for public use. Bear in mind some effects like the Timelord monsters, while they have 0 atk and def, cannot be special summoned from the deck. Gizmek Uka can special summon them from the hand however.
