Maiden In Love and Eucalyptus Mole have been longtime wants, so happy to have those. The former is missing Happy Marrage, though. (And I want Animal Trail, to finally finish up Chumley’s longstanding backlog.)
I do not, however, remember Soul Union.
it’s curious that they added Defense Maiden’s effect (basically) and Cupid’s Kiss effect to Maiden in Love.
@Issac, it was probably done to beef the card up, especially since they were printing Maiden in Love sans the rest of the Deck.
This also means if they choose to release those cards later, they’ll add a positive redundancy to Maiden in Love to make the theme stronger.
The only thing really missing, like I said, is the Happy Marriage card/effect.
It’s really not all that surprising that Cupid’s Kiss and Defense Maiden would be rolled into her effect. Maiden in Love’s payoff just isn’t worth a 3-Card combo in the current game environment and since Cupid’s Kiss and Defense Maiden were 2 cards that only comboed with Maiden in Love they just add those effects directly into the monster both to power-up Maiden in Love, but also because it means they can cut down on unnecessary cards they have to print. Happy Marriage on the other hand, perhaps surprisingly, has always been generic, even in the anime. So they could still release it elsewhere.
I grinned SO hard when I saw Eucalyptus Mole. That’s one of my favorite GX-era cards! I can’t wait to finally own a playset of it!
And I LOVE that they added Cupid’s Kiss and Defense Maiden into Maiden in Love’s effect. Now she can be played to the fullest without any unnecessary extra steps! Hopefully, we’ll get her Mystic/Egg cards in the future (along with Happy Marriage) so we can finally make a full fledged character deck for her.
(And we also need Koala March for Chumley, along with Animal Trail, to finally finish his deck list. One down, two to go!)
We got Nanbazu 2’s counter support spell, we can afford to get one of reverse trap Rei’s s/ts eventually. We can afford to take a 5 minute break from konami fanfiction and hand holding deck build packs to clear some more of the backlog.
Soul Union was used by Judai to power up Wild Edge to reduce the damage he takes from a Power Bonded Cyber End Dragon… it wasn’t enough, so he had to boost his LP with Emergency Provisions.
I hope it has an effect such as this

You and me both, bud and when it comes to cards from the anime I really want to see released in the OCG/TCG, I want to see the rest of Bastion’s Magnet Warriors and his Plasma Warrior Eitom, Chazz Princeton’s Beetron cards, Joey Wheeler’s Landstar cards, Rebecca Hawkins’ Ruby Dragon, Diamond Head Dragon and Adamantine Sword Revival, Bonaparte’s Toy Emperor, Alister’s Gorlag, Rafael’s Backup Gardna, Sumo King Dog, Recycle Rhinobot, Net Resonator because it’s the only Resonator card that hasn’t been released and Elemental HERO Clay Guardian because it’s the only Elemental HERO that hasn’t been released yet, to name a few. All-in-all, in the end, let me hear what you have to say on all of these and take care!
If we get a Ra Yellow pack then we might get Bonaparte’s Toy cards.

Well, bud, if we do get a Ra Yellow pack, while I hope to see Bonaparte’s Toy Emperor in it, I hope to see Bastion’s other Magnet Warriors and his Plasma Warrior Eitom in it or Chazz Princeton’s Beetron cards as well as Jaden’s Elemental HERO Clay Guardian, because it’s the only Elemental HERO that hasn’t been released yet and those are among some of the cards from the anime I want to see released, whether it’s in a Ra Yellow pack or Animation Chronicle, even though I’m still hoping we hear some news regarding this year’s edition of Animation Chronicle. All-in-all, in the end, let me hear what you have to say on this!

Summoning Big Koala for a 4700 ATK beatstick is kinda hysteric, even if it’s pretty clunky.
Maiden in Love was released in Duel Links first, and now, it appears in real life
It’s actually existed in a playable fashion as far back as the Tag Force PSP games.

Eucalyptus Mole even better than I thought. Though a little sad “Kangaroo” is not canonized as an archetype. Was hoping Chumley’s deck would evolve into something like Frightful. Only Koalas on one hand and Kangaroos on the other.

Love Soul Union. The buff they gave it for fusion summoning is great.
Too bad they didn’t make it searchable in any way. I’d have played 1 copy for the memes in my HERO Deck. But as it is, the HERO deck is already too tightly packed with amazing cards, so there’s no space to make for an unsearchable gimmicky trap. I’d rather they have printed like Take Over Five or Hero’s Guild. Funnier gimmicks that can be more useful because they’re spells. Though Take Over Five could be abused by any other deck, maybe. It’s kinda crazy in a modern context, and not HERO themed at all, so it’d be generic.

Reverse trap Rei was not my main priority but at least it’s a step in the right direction. Incredibly acerbic that we don’t have “plus minus” as a sub-type but at least there is justice for the BIG and STRONG Hayato by making koala a name cutout infused with power official in the ocg.
There’s a lot of season 1 episodes I’m watching for the first time so only recently did I find out that Hayato was spirit-sensitive, a sub-plot that had no conclusion of course.
