I’m intrigued, but obviously there are more. Treasure Hunter Archetype sounds cool
Treasure of doom is funny with alba zoa
Love it so far, these has great potential!
I guess for now the combo line is:
1) Activate “The Tainted Treasure Hunter Fiend” to add “Diabellestarr the Dark Witch”
2) Activate “Diabellestarr the Dark Witch” to special summon her
3) Activate its on summon effect to set “Tainted Treasure of Betrayal – Silvia”
On the opponent’s turn:
4) Activate “Tainted Treasure of Betrayal – Silvia” as a monster negate sending “Diabellestarr the Dark Witch” from the field
5) Activate the effect of “Diabellestarr the Dark Witch” when she is sent to the GY to summon herself back
6) Activate her on summon effect and set “Tainted Treasure of Doom – Luciela”
7) Activate “Tainted Treasure of Doom – Luciela” to make her unaffected and possibly destroy some monsters.
8) On your turn get a free draw from “The Tainted Treasure Hunter Fiend”
In conclusion:
We have a 1.5 card monster negate + multipop engine + 1 draw next turn
It sends not discards so it wont work with the likes of Dark World.
Think of Tearlament decks.
Its pretty good for first wave.
You cant activate the treasure the turn its set but the rest srill holds true
I’d play Pots and a bunch of hand traps rather than some engine that makes inconsistent use of your extra deck, I love it too btw and its potential is huge
I love the aesthetic of treasure hunting, so this is very exciting.
Not ever name cut-out has to be a power source but here we are.
“then, if any of those monsters’ ATK has been reduced to 0 as a result, destroy it.”
It irks me that effects like venom swamp, osiris, leraje etc. that treat a stat like an endurance stat don’t blow up things that have 0 in the relevant stat to begin with.
Just posted on Reddit, posting here too:
> Shi no Zaihou – Luciela (Tainted Treasure of Doom – Luciela)
> Quick-Play Spell Card
> (1) Target 1 Level 7 or higher Spellcaster you control; apply these effects, in sequence.
> ● That face-up monster is unaffected by other monsters’ effects this turn, but send it to the GY during the Standby Phase of the next turn.
> Witchcrafter Golem Aruru
> Spellcaster / Effect Level 8
> Once per turn, during your opponent’s Standby Phase: Return this card to the hand.
If I am reading this right, Aruru is a good target for Luciela, even outside a “Witchcrafter” deck. Correct? But… what effect takes precedence? Luciella sending to the GY or Aruru own effect returning to hand? Can you simply choose?
You can choose since none of them specifies at which point of the Phase they must activate.
Not terrible in Magistus:
>Normal summon Endy / Zoroa / Rilliona
>>For Rilliona search/activate theurgy
>Equip Artemis
>Search Crowley
>Diabellestar summons self, send Artemis.
>Diabellestar set Luciela
>Send Diabellestar for Crowley
>Proceed to Magistus combo
Now you have your floodgate with Zoroa with an additional interruption / protection by making a boardwipe against anybody who has 2900 or less attack and it’s now immune to monster effects.
