90% of them are fine. There’s like… 4 handtraps that needs to be hit. Nibiru, Droll, Ash and Fuwallos. All banned but Ash who can be at 1. The rest of all handtraps are fine and are not a problem. Those fours are the most problematic.

Darklord is meta now. Condemned darklord is easily summoned and searches any darklord which is just full darklord combo. And, any 2 level 6 dark fairy monsters and a fusion is full darklord combo. Not only is it splashable, but stronger and doesn’t require too much main deck space. Very good

If the set only supports 2 anime themes, the second is usually revealed during the Livestream the week before the set is released in the OCG. If there are 3 anime themes supported, the second should be revealed probably in the next 7 days.
Technically, Darklords came first in GX manga so this counts as manga support… unless you really want to count Darklord Nurse Reficule, which is from GX anime. I suppose there’s also Darklord Marie which appeared in original anime but ehhh…

Is it just me or did anyone else think of Zone of the Enders when seeing Darklord Djehuty?
still loses to single ash blossom. darklords need A LOT more than this to be remotely playable

The funny thing is you’re probably right.
I love these. It turns Darklords into a viable rogue pure strategy. It’s not going to be tier zero but I’m fine with that. I was getting really tired of cramming 7 Darklord cards into a Despia pile and pretending it was a Darklord deck. Djehuty is a one card combo and the deck has 2 dozen ways to search it. The new Kambi card make Condemned darklord without using your normal summon. Herald of Orange light is a great hand trap insulator and can trigger Gulgaltas search. I am a little worried because the fusion spell being able to banish Darklords from either field could end up making mirror matches insufferable.
