Been wanting to see how to make use of those new Legendary Fisherman related cards, well, Konami has a suggested Deck Recipe, which recommends using them in tandem with the Mermails!
“The Legendary Fisherman” + “Mermail” Deck
The Legendary Fisherman II:
■ You can add cards like “The Legendary Fisherman III”, “Mermail Abyssteus” and “Stronghold Whale” from your Deck to your hand.
Pacifis, the Phantasm City:
■ It lets you destroy monsters with “Rage of Kairyu-Shin”
■ It protects “The Legendary Fisherman II” from being affected by other monsters’ effects.
Stronghold Whale:
■ It protects “The Legendary Fisherman II” and “Mermail Abyssteus” from being targeted by effects
■ It Sets “Sea Stealth Attack” from the Deck to the Field
Sea Stealth Attack:
■ It can activate “Umi” (sic: “Pacifis, the Phantom City”) from the hand or Graveyard
■ It protects “Pacifis, the Phantasm City” from being destroyed
■ It protects “Abyss-sphere” and “Call of the Haunted” from being destruction
