Okay, that stretching the alt art by a lot. If there would’ve been an image of Eldlich creating like gold or something, I would’ve gotten it. But he is literally just pulling a Solo Leveling summon
I think he’s pulling them (golden extravagant guards) out of a giant pot? There’s the same square pattern on what little of the pot we can see.
You are indeed correct!
Guess 2 summons is to symbolize the draw 2 effect and since in Eldlich lore, sacrifices are made, it represents the 10 cards banished (sacrificed)

Its Eldlich using the pot to sacrifice others to bring forth two new guards. You can just make out the design of the pot’s top lip on the new card

Konami saw the money input from Master Duel whales so is doubling down on UR alts (Not complaining really)
This one Is strange considering that Eld already has two extra deck monsters and usually carries a pair of xyz to close duels but ok
Though this will likely be after the Quarter Century promotion, I can see an alt art reprint set in the future with 2 new alts of Spells for Exosister and Rescue-ACE.
For those that don’t get it…
1) You can see the Pot’s design work in the new alt artwork, meaning that this is a got POE.
2) Eldlich has sacrificed things (kind of his whole lore) to bring forth two new golden guardians to serve him (the effect giving you two draws at the cost of 6 cards)
??? As far as I remember, Eld has not sacrificed anything, the lore always showed him as a force that consumes everything in its path like the living curse that he is
There are 6 alternative arts left to be revealed .
What’s next, Pot of Duality with Floowandereeze?
Since Barrier Statue of the Stormwinds is on the banlist, I wouldn’t bet on it.
These alt art Spell Cards are getting out of hand. Their new artwork is just so random and ultimately pointless.
Are we not gonna talk about how this implies the scale of these pot cards are like, towering over these monsters?? Their f*cking HUGE!
Now imagine if they make alt art for Pot of Greed, one that implies each and every universes that all these archetypes belong to are stored in a Pot of Greed each.
