Baiting your opponent into tribute summoning?
This makes the original Soul Exchange even more unworthy than it already was.
That’s the point.
This looks a little less versatile than Soul Exchange in that it can only be used for tribute SUMMONS as opposed to Soul Exchange being open to any tribute period, including for cost. But it also allows you to tribute more than one opponent’s monster AND you get to keep your battle phase.
Wait I don’t falsely read you can tribute opponent monsters with “S”???
nope, it be perfect for some god plays
This card is solely for Tribute Summons unlike the other who can use only 1 monster but for any Tribute effects, this card is much better at doing its job since you can tribute 2 or more depending on the deck your playing. It doesnt target the specified tribute fodder unlike the OG Soul Exchange so it can hit Untargetable monsters, of course it still cant affect Effect-Immune monsters like Stormforth.
Waaay better since it also doesnt lock your BP.
is it supposed to say “If this set card” or is this just a worse monarchs stormforth?
the monster that you summon gets protection and it isn’t limited to 1 card like stormforth. this card also actually conducts the summon whereas stormforth just gives you permission to use their monster.
It also punishes people that dont read since if they activate this card while they have legal targets to be tributed and to be tribute summon while you control the tribute summoned monster that cannot be tribute, it will force them to tribute summon their monster using their monsters as tribute fodder instead.
but the 2nd effect is optional, meaning your opponent doesn’t have to choose to use the 1st effect.
i feel punished fpr reading here since you use the word tribute 5 times
Cross Soul and summon Light and Darkness Dragon
Ngl, kinda based
L&D effect is mandatory and also affect ur own effects so dropping a vanity ruler would be better
I don’t understand the point of the 2nd effect?
It enables them to tribute summon monsters except their own field or other monsters you control except the one summoned by this effect.
So if they fcked up and used this, they can accidentally tribute summon their Fenrir by using their other Kashtira monsters as tribute fodders.

It is kinda pointless yeah. The opponent will almost never get to use it.
This works on unaffected monsters.
Really ?
Make Floo great again !
They should have included or tribute effects instead of t.summon so rituals could ise it.
For some time I was thinking what sort of text could best emulate manga/anime soul exchange and this is far more succinct than what I had in mind. Kudos to them. Like swapping control of all monsters, then each player may tribute summon, then swap back, yadda, yadda.
so use this when you have an empty board to break your opponent’s, unless you want to risk your other monster to be tribute
Is this “Spell Card:” Spell Cards gonna be a running trend? Because its very funny, and would love to see more. And yes, I know its a reference to the Anime.
True Draco, Divine Beats, Monarch, U.A. and Floow liked this post.
