… Okay, two of these guys got their names changed.
契約を結びし竜の戦士[ドラゴン・ウォリアー]Keiyaku wo Musubishi Dragon Warrior (Contract-Bound Dragon Warrior) [Contract-Bound Dragonic Warrior]
アイン・ロイド Einroid
妖魔ヌリカベ Youma Nurikabe (Fiend Nurikabe)
Note:
Dragonic Warrior got renamed due to issues with Ryu Senshi, who is also “Dragon Warrior” in Japan..
I am not sure why Nurikabe got renamed.

A new Vehicroid appears! The first of the German Roids.
Dang, Arc-V manga got screwed for GX year I guess.
Years.
It’s likely the GX shilling goes for 3.5 years.
I hope they dont plan to do all five of them
“It’s likely the GX shilling goes for 3.5 years.”
Your terms are acceptable.
Are they going to do the same with Bonaparte’s Toy Soldier if it ever gets released since we already got a card with the same name?
Yes, more likely than not.
Funny how they basically debuted a week apart (R vs. GX) with the GX version just being the living version of a monster Yugi wouldn’t have fond memories of.
Are we gonna get the Solidroids!
Another yokai monster yes!
Let it be LADD support
I have a feeling the new “Roid” Monster going let you Fusion Summon By Banishing Materials from the GY. That way you the “Roid” Archetype will have an easier way to Summon “Barbaroid, the Ultimate Battle Machine“. Also most likely have a Non-Wind resistance, to prevent it from being splashed with “Speedroid”.
They could just say “except Speedroid monsters” and stop blocking the actual WIND Vehicroid from applying.
But this Roid in particular already has an effect in the manga. It Foolishes 2 Roids from the deck if it’s destroyed by battle.
@ScionStorm Konami could make a Fusion Summon lock or limit the roids for being used as material for anything else other than Fusion Summoning. They can’t just mention another archetype/theme in the extended branch of Syrus’s roids, or fusion roid theme I’ll also name, that was non-existent during the existence of latter said theme. Hasn’t been done before with any other branch extended themes before the existence of Speedroids, so it’ll be extremely unpredictable at the very least; therefore not likely what will end up happening.
I enjoy the design challenge of working around speedroids.
“or limit the roids for being used as material for anything else other than Fusion Summoning.”
Yup, like a Nordic Relic Hlidskjalf-ish lock. Roids have a lot of gy recursion (they’re emergency vehicles after all!) and I’m shocked they don’t have a continuous payoff for that to this day. I think Megaroid City’s effect was inspired by Sho having Weapon Change in his deck.
I hope it won’t be a Miracle Fusion effect. Mixeroid already does that for the deck.
I get the droid pun in the name Speedroid… but why couldn’t they have been called Speed Toys and not give -roids this angst in the modern era.
The rename probably also means they are just doing the smarter thing of integrating Dragon Contracts effect into the Warrior Dragon
Want card with varying payoffs that reward the player with better timing? Sorry, best I can is more tour guide clones.
OMG FINALLY ROID SUPPORT!!!
Yokai it’s Zombie Support, yessssss
Release Reggie´s cards.
Release the Forbidden Beasts.
Like how this announcement is tied into the GX promos for the anime. Bastion ans Chazz get updates for their manga Decks, while Syrus who didn’t get any anime support in the Slifer Red Pack has his here.
theres always a chance roids get more support in a main set.
Finally something for roids!! I’m loving these GX supports!
Still upset that Yokai wasn’t just added as a new Type =^=
Alas, that was before they started earnestly allowing new Types to be things.
Still more likely to happen than getting “Air Elemental” as a type sigh.
Whatever these cards end up being, they’ll most likely be complete ass, like 99% of Subscription Promos.
No clue what vehicle ONEroid is even supposed to be.
The Germanroids were all parts that eventually became Barbaroid, the Ultimate Battle Machine. Einroid in particular makes up the second segment, just below the head (which is Veirroid).
My guess about renaming Nurikabe is because of the card “Youma reinforcements”, which was used to revive this card and another yokai, which then were used for tribute summon by Alexis on Tag Duel.
Same goes for Dragon Warrior which was needed to activate Contract with the dragon, which special summons a level 4- dragon from Deck.
Either call it Youma no Engun or Ghostly Reinforcements, because calling it Youma Reinforcements is just going to confuse people.
Day 2 of waiting for Inmato support.
Hopefully there’ll be dedicated Legendary Planets support in the future
Although “The Tyrant Neptune” might need to get an eratta/retrain if they do eventually go down this path
I’m still waiting for Metamorphosis to get errata so Konami will release Clay Guardian – the only anime HERO monster left.
Issue with Legendary Planets is that they are not an archetype and have absolutely nothing connecting them mechanically so there’s no way to connect them with support.
I suppose an errata to treat them as “Legendary Planet” monsters would help, even if it’s bit boring.
“I’m still waiting for Metamorphosis to get errata so Konami will release Clay Guardian – the only anime HERO monster left.”
They can just change the summon condition to discard 1 spell or whatever. More annoying is the metamorphosis heroes will still be another incomplete series like the NEX spacians.
“I suppose an errata to treat them as “Legendary Planet” monsters would help, even if it’s bit boring.”
Had this same thought once but like you said, they have no synergy. More annoying is the tcg is not having “The” in every name.
@Namesky INTERNATIONALLY FAMOUS Ravedactyl
sorry, I should’ve worded it better to make it clearer:
I meant each Planets having their own dedicated supports, i.e. “The Splendid Venus”/”The Big Saturn ” becoming a deck like how most random DM era monsters (Gaia the Dragon Champion, Flame Swordsman etc.) getting their own archetypes
and maybe tie the ones that aren’t in an archetype, but used by the same character in the manga (“The Grand Jupiter” into Vision HEROs” for example.
