Another Yuga DARK retrain to align with Accel Road, but I can’t help but think Yuhi/Dark/Kurotes is who it’s really for. Given Magical Roadstar.
You may be right about something, but I also don’t rule out that he could be a complementary support for Yuga, Otes and Yuhi/Dark/Kurotes (after all, the Cover is a Sevens Road’s Fusion Monster that is more closely linked to Yuga due to its Appearance)
Okay, another Yuga’s Monster Retrain that ends up being a DARK Attribute. The difference is that this one is a Fusion Monster (screams Contact Fusion)
Now, I don’t quite remember if OG Torna was recently reprinted (I’m guessing one of its Fusion Materials will be Torna the Windweaver)
Not all low Level Fusions are Contacts.
For instance, Charm Witch has the exact same stat line as Torna the Whirlwind Magician but she isn’t a Contact.
Witch and Torna also have the same stat line.
This more so implies to me that Torna will likely use a Level 1 DARK Spellcaster as material, or will have a low Level specifically named material.
My guess is the former.
Charm Witch was released just before contact fusion was first seen for Rush Duel
Charm Witch is also a Fusion of a Level 6 with 1600 ATK/1000 DEF – same statline as Torna – and a Level 1. They deliberately chose the same stat line for this Fusion.
If it were meant to be a Contact, the Level normally would be adjusted downward, not kept the same, to compensate. Concurrent is Level 8 while Enhanced is Level 9 despite sharing the same materials. Incognito is Level 8 while Luxury is Level 10 and Fabulous is Level 9. Whispark is Level 7 but Whispurring is Level 6.
Of course, it could very well be a Contact. Some of Yuga’s newest Fusions are Contacts, and Forbidden Requiem does have the same stats and Level as Transamvelg Linac. But I wouldn’t assume it “screams Contact Fusion” like Bruno did just for stats alone. Patterns break all the time. It could go either way.
Torna is one of the materials for sure but I cannot make out the other.
In either case it is a Level 8, likely implying the other material is low Level as well. Attribute implies the material is DARK as well.
Why Torna instead of Torne?
トルネ is used for the Torne River.
Oh, I didn’t realize this card’s name is based on prior precedent (Torna the Windweaver).
トルネード (Torneedo) is Tornado.
Basically one of those things where you kinda have to change it since his name is partially Tornado.
