I didn’t expect Copycat to be a Legend Monster in Rush Duels. I thought that the Monster is not a big deal to be a Legend Monster.
However, I can understand him being a Legend Monster: his Effect is quite unique and powerful for a Level 1 in Rush Duels (he is a welcome companion in Celeb Rose, better than Time Wizard)
Although I see that it is common to obtain Legend Cards this way, via promotions.

Ah dammit, its rush duel. I thought we were getting a new copycat

If you see [RD] in the title, good chance it is Rush related.
Besides, we already have our next master promo lined up – Detonating Kuriboh.

Yea but just think about a new copycat that also takes the effect of your opponent

Copycat being a Legend doesn’t shock me in the slightest, given that it can copy any opposing monster’s stat line for itself.
Also the second SJMP promo in a row to be a Legend legacy card, where most of them are new and are indirectly tied to new cards released around that time. Hopefully the game is selling well in Japan as this is an unusual shift in magazine promos.
