I mean, Queen’s bodyguard is a direct support card for Allure Queen since day 1 and they were used by Queen in (extremely underwhelming) duel against Ai.
Tbh I expect that they will turn it into generic Spellcaster support. I also don’t think that we will see Allure Palace and Allure Dance because of that.
From all the VRains cards stuck in Anime-exclusive limbo Konami picked one of the least wanted.

Allure Queen makes a lot of sense with new configuration for Animation Chronicles. It’s an entire wave of support condensed into 3 cards. Hard to beat that.
The big money reveal, in my opinion, has to be for Peformage! At long last, Dennis will be let out of prison for the sins both his and Yuya’s Deck shared but that he alone had been made to atone for.
Because Dennis has used so many cards, I’m extremely curious which once they’ll print for now? When they did Sergey’s Earthbounds last time, they printed 9 of his cards in Animation Chronicle and two more in a Core Booster released a few months later. Dennis has about 20-something unreleased cards (including Ancient Gear cards), so paring down their numbers if gonna be difficult.
I would personally expect his unprinted bosses and the most practical of his unprinted Pendulums.

Wonder what those might be? I guess the Performage that lets you draw cards, if they’re truly feeling generous and benevolent with Dennis now.

Yea people need to realize that characters that only used a few cards have better odds than major characters with completely unreleased 10+ card themes. After the Volcanic Mine fiasco I don’t expect direct cross support for [recent thing] to be more than 1 card, especially with so few new cards. So if there’s say a gimmick puppet card here I only expect one.
I know ancient gear statue is in this year’s animation chronicles set this year, hopefully we also get the double and ultimate ancient gear hunting hounds along with ancient gear inspection. But in truth I’ll be happy with anything in this set.
As much as I want hounds if we follow the rule of “support for a thing is all revealed at once” then statue is the only cross-set support here. It’s joever.
Finally after all these years, High Trapeze Magician! And hopefully some of Dennis’ vast amount of unreleased Performage cards too. Or at least Trapeze Witch. Maybe I’ll finally have enough Performages to run the deck pure / nearly pure.

Performage Trapeze High Magician is a nice little cross promotion with Duel Links since Dennis is coming this month.
Just about any anime exclusive card could be in this set so let’s hope that we get some meta relevant cards from it.
And yet again no bakura cards…this sucks…some one at Konami must be a die hard Yugi, 5ds and zexal fan
I believe we already got most of Yami Bakura’s / Zorc’s most iconic or key stuff from both Battle City and the Memory Arc. Not a whole lot left that really matters besides Zorc himself as a card (which I’m surprised hasn’t happened yet given Exodia, the Defender God / the Legendary Defender’s effect five years ago now).
I wouldn’t mind Ghost Duke / The Duke of Demise though, but with improvements. Maybe even give Diabound Kernel’s evolved forms cards too.
Is that a joke? The entire Undead Lock strategy of his Necro deck has yet to be released.

There better be like 10 spots for Arc-V cards in this set then, cause alll I wanted from them this set were the Hound fusions and a couple of Melodious cards.
Depending on it we’re going to get new Arcana Force support in the Light pack we still the Hanged Man and The Strength from the GX anime.

When I saw Dennis was a playable character in Duel Links, I thought maybe but I am so glad they’re actually printing his cards again!
Also Golden Allure Queen because I have a soft spot for underutilized LV monsters!

Oh and Allure Queen? Really? Imagine being Windy and Lightning and somehow FREAKIN ALLURE QUEEN gets support before their archtype gets into the game?
Armatos Legio is the sort of thing that would need 10 or more slots. Something like that would be better suited for deck build packs but then they stopped using them to release anime themes and I stopped caring.
Maybe a Selection 10 like pack. That’s how we got Sunavalon.
Last year’s AC pack had 9 EBS and then another 3 cards from the deck were released in the two following core sets.
Why is the cover for DM a reprint in a set for new anime cards??? What a joke, last few years they are acting like they have run out of cards to print and keep doing weird gimmicks and weird retrains when there are still thousands of anime and manga cards from all 6 shows wtf is there problem smh
Blame Sevens/ Go Rush for not giving us any new anime for the normal game.
I’m still amused, for a lack of a better word, that palace and dance functionally errated the Allure Queens. Would be nice if Konami released some generic LV support within the next decade but I know it’s a pipe dream.
