Attention Speed Duelists! Speed Duel Tournament Pack 6 is set to be released on September 6th. It’s full of terrific reprints you may need additional copies of and upgraded rarities to some of the strongest cards from Speed Duel GX: Midterm Paradox and Speed Duel GX: Duelists of Shadows. It also includes 5 returning Skill Cards to add to your collection.
Today we’re announcing that 4 of the 5 Skill Cards in Speed Duel Tournament Pack 6 will receive card text updates. These Skill Cards are being clarified, simplified, and/or modified to work within the updated Skill Card rules introduced with the Speed Duel GX: Duel Academy Box.

Skill Card Text Update for Dragon Caller
Previous Text:
Once per Duel, you can use 1 of the following Skills.

If you control “The Legendary Fisherman“, you can activate “Umi” directly from your Deck or GY. This Skill can only be used once per Duel.
Once per turn, when “The Legendary Fisherman” you control destroys a monster by battle or inflicts battle damage to your opponent, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower WATER monster from your Deck or GY in Defense Position.Updated Text:

Skill Card Text Update for I’m Just Gonna Attack!

Apply the following Skill(s):
●During your Main Phase, you can make 1 monster you control gain 100 ATK until the end of this turn.
●During your Battle Phase, when your opponent activates a Trap Card, you can negate its effect and Set that card.
Each of these Skills can only be used once per turn.Updated Text:
Once per Duel, during your Main Phase, you can make 1 monster you control gain 100 ATK until the end of this turn, also, during the Battle Phase this turn, negate your opponent’s first Trap Card or effect that resolves, and Set it instead of sending it to the GY.This Skill is being modified to balance and work within the updated Skill Card rules.
All 4 updated Skill Cards will be available in Speed Duel Tournament Pack 6 next month. Remember to play your original copies of these Skill Cards as if they have the updated text.
There will also be one additional Skill Card: For the first time ever, an alternate version of the Power Bond Skill Card will be available featuring none other than Zane Truesdale!
Skill Cards are what make Speed Duel so unique, and there may be other Skill Cards that will receive updated card text in the future to better balance, work within the updated rules, and clarify how they are used.
