The TCG has decided to postpone the event in the face of the recent pandemic.
Every year, we at KONAMI take great pleasure in hosting the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series to bring together fans from all over the world to share their passion for the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME; simultaneously, we also place the health and safety of our players, fans and staff as a top priority. In an abundance of caution relating to the developing situation surrounding COVID-19, also known as Coronavirus, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series event scheduled in Charlotte, NC on March 28-29, indefinitely.
We apologize if this has caused any inconvenience for our players who were planning to attend, judges who were preparing for the event, fans who were looking to keep an eye on the coverage, and everyone else who may be affected as a result. We continue to closely monitor the situation that is developing daily and will provide updates on the rescheduling of this event, as well as the status of future events as they become available. These updates will be posted to our website incorporated within each respective event’s FAQs, which can be found at: https://www.yugioh-card.com/en/events/index.html.
We will also share details on the rescheduling of YCS Charlotte and updates for other upcoming events as they become available via our official Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG social media channels:
