Big changes for this year’s tins, as you’ll be able to get the annual Mega-Packs with or without the metal tin itself and save a little money in the process!
As always, the centerpiece of the 2025 Mega-Pack Tin is the 3 Mega-Packs inside, each pack with a guaranteed variety of card rarities.
This year’s tins come with a new twist, though. You can get the standard metal tin (the ‘tin’ tin, so to speak) like always, or skip the metal tin and get just the Mega-Packs inside, with the separate 2025 Mega-Pack Bundle.
Either way, you still get your 3 Mega-Packs, but let’s look at how they’re different:
The 2025 Mega Pack-Tin (the ‘tin’ tin, so to speak) comes with:
• 1 Mega tin, giving a whole new meaning to the “Heart of the Cards!”
• 3 Deck Dividers showing off the cool art images depicted on the metal tin
• 3 Mega-Packs, each containing 1 Starlight Rare, 1 Prismatic Secret Rare, 3 Ultra Rares, and 8 Common cards, per Mega-Pack
Grab a ‘tin’ tin to get a cool collectible tin you can story your Decks in, plus brand-new Deck Dividers to organize your cards, along with your 3 Mega-Packs! Available at your favorite mass retailer or Official Tournament Store!
The 2025 Mega-Pack Bundle comes with:
• 3 Mega-Packs, each containing 1 Starlight Rare, 1 Prismatic Secret Rare, 3 Ultra Rares, and 8 Common cards, per Mega-Pack
Grab the bundles if you’re a Duelist who just wants to open a lot of Mega-Packs, skipping the metal tin and the Deck Dividers, and going straight for the packs!
Whether you get the 2025 Mega-Pack Tin or the 2025 Mega-Pack Bundle, your 3 Mega-Packs combined will always give you a grand total of 3 Starlight Rare, 3 Prismatic Secret Rare, 9 Ultra Rares, and 24 Common cards.
Total per Tin or Bundle
• 3 Starlight Rare
• 3 Prismatic Secret Rare
• 9 Ultra Rares
• 24 Commons
Official Tournament Store Launch Date: 09/03/25
Launch Date: 09/05/2025
MSRP: $23.99 per Mega-Pack Tin or $20.99 per Mega-Pack Bundle.

No more QCR
It’s no longer the anniversary
Why is it Yugo and Blue Angel in the Arc-V and VRAINS one instead of Reiji and Revolver? Weird.
Probably because neither Reiji nor revolver got any new cards in ages, so nothing of theirs will be included in the tins, or I’m just speaking nonsense…
So no new promos mentioned?
Also, the three on the right of the tin’s side have had recent support last year, but why Phoenix and Atlas depicted?
Jack Atlas’ deck gained Earthbound Immortal Red Nova, which sports Red Nova Dragon in Animation Chronicle 2024 and which arrived in the TCG via Maze of the Masters recently. Well, apart from him, the list of characters for 5D’s is weak since Yusei cannot be chosen because he is the protagonist and the year 2024 was very bad for 5D’s, personally this is the best choice.
Jack Atlas is here with Red Familiar, a card from ETCO that wasn’t reprinted in the structure deck. Presumably other cards like that might also be here.
With how much economy and environment stuff is happening in world right now, producing less tins and selling mega packs separately for slightly lower price makes perfect sense.
I always feel like it’s waste of tins if someone bought a lot of tins just to open the packs and get the cards they need.
time for another 40 hundred card mega tin
I wonder what this year’s debuts will be
They should at least include some form of promo in the tin to make it worth buying (unless they plan to make the prices of the tin and the bundle so ridiculously close to each-other so much so that you just decide to buy the tin)
The price is literally in the news. The difference between Tin and Bundle is 3$. I think it’s a fait idea and I hope that it will stick around – if you don’t care about the tin you can just buy the bundle. It will be cheaper for you, makes life easier for Konmai because they will need to produce less tins and environment will be happy because people that don’t want tins and have nothing to do with them will not be forced to just throw them away. I genuinely fail to see how one can complain about this.
Sorry, didn’t read the price, I’m a Yu-Gi-Oh player after all…
For most people (at least not ones buying whole cases) A $3 difference is the kind of tiny difference that nudges you to just buy the tin.
I think that this is a move from Konami to slowly start killing Tins once again. I mean if they can make a larger margin on the same product (by cutting off the cost of the Tin itself and its logistics) then how wouldn’t they…
$3 isn’t a big difference but if you’re buying multiple it adds up, especially since a lot of people probably don’t want multiple tins.
Konami would probably prefer you buy the tin because it’s definitely costing them less than $3 to produce but this is a very nice way to make it a bit more affordable, especially with the economy as it is right now.
I wonder if any of the monsters depicted on the tins will be in the set
Three new WP cards and a lot of reprints
Source?
We get information through press releases, you can also find this information on the official yugioh product page.
Doesn’t it seem a little too early to be announced this year’s tin. I wouldn’t be surprised if this turns out to be fake.
It’s also on the official page
Fake? From Konami’s official website?
From all the news to be doubted, this is your pick? Literally the one product we get every year that doesn’t introduce anything new?

Well this year’s tin must either coming out earlier this year or Konami just decided to start showing them off 5 months early.
3 starlight rares that’s crazy bro.
While as customers save ~12,5% with the bundle, in terms of production cost those should be at least 30% cheaper to produce than the tins. It’s a good way to both increase profits while also not looking predatory. If only Konami was this clever with most products.
Finally, DM and BEWD reprints!
Noticed how they put Astrograph Sorcerer as Yuya’s card. But isn’t that Zarc’s card?
Tin? More like bin ’cause they’ve been ass for two years minimum.
I miss getting promo cards in tins. The 5ds and zexal tins were the best.
Is that flame swordsman on joey? RIP red-eyes
It’s Metal Flame Swordsman, the Metalmorph version.
This is very much being offered to distract from the fact that the normal tins cost more now. Last year’s tins were $21.99 MSRP, so you’re paying $1 less for just the packs or $2 more for the tin and some worthless plastic (assuming they even are plastic and aren’t paper dividers). Honestly the bundle isn’t a bad shout; I’d rather that than have to deal with all the tins and dividers, but the fact they’re still doing this kind of crap instead of promos is annoying.
Eh, honestly 2$ price increase is not a big deal considering current state of the world, but it’s nice that they gave some little bonus in the form of dividers and an option for people that don’t care about tins but still wants cards for price closer to the older one.
They at least try. Hard to tell them greedy when you look at what WoTC is doing with Magic.
I don’t know where the tins are made, if tins are made in China, there is huge tariffs that stupid Trump just announced that will affect the price. if so, $2 is not that much increase to be honest.
