Its gonna be another Eldlich/Twin/Cydra support wave, isn’t it?
Nope, as those TTD exist I doubt they’d be the debuters for TTP
Don’t think we’re getting this set.
More likely it’s aimed at the upcoming Recue and exosister decks
I’m excited to learn more, even if these are taking over for Duelist Packs, and much bigger due to the mass of reprints THAT THEY WERE UPFRONT ABOUT. That makes it feel better than trimming AC and making half the set reprints and making us feel like we’re missing cards.
So this is clearly meant for those who started the game with the Tactical-Try Decks and each theme has approximately 20-30 cards each.
That narrows the potential themes down a bit.
Expectation: Decently popular older Decks that need help.
Reality: Sky Striker, Albaz/Branded, and Blue-Eyes.
It’s wild that people on here think Sky striker is getting some kind of massive favoritism. It got a bunch of awful unplayable manga tie in cards and only has like 24 cards in total counting those. Which is more than a lot of decks but not nearly as much as many other decks and then you know if you account for all the cards that were never meant to be played they’ve not really gotten a ton of support. They won’t get support here nor will Blue-eyes or Albaz. Cuz Sky Striker and Albaz are getting core set support, that’s already announced which makes sense cuz it ties into an anime their making and Blue-eyes just had a structure. It’s way more likely we’ll see archtypes that managed to build up a card pool like Harpie or something.
Now now 60% of the new stuff sucks but the 40% isn’t. 60 is a bit much already but hey not all of it at least
@Sara 24 cards total is a weird way of say 32 cards and counting.
So we can get support for the 5 TTD’s in form of new cards, but instead of a Core Product in this new Pack?
No, this will be new themes outside of the 5 decks. There wouldn’t be a point in reprinting all the cards from the decks again.
@windzy
Most the Tactical Try Packs are for supporting 3 other older archetypes, without having to print Structure Decks for each.
I wanted the TCG to do this but with the TCG world premier themes.
Every description of everything sounds like deck build pack. There is no escape.
So basically, the possible archetypes that will be supported in this new Tactical Try Pack are limited to;
• Cyber Dragon: Two card support wave in ALIN
• Eldlich: Two card support wave in ALIN
• Evil/Live Twins: Two card support wave in ALIN
• Exosister: Last supported in 2022’s POTE
• Rescue Ace: Last supported in 2023’s DUNE
There’s no reason to assume that. The bulk of this product is reprints, which would be massively redundant if it’s just picking a tactical try archetype.
@Regiruler- You’re right. I evidently have misinterpreted the information. I would try to amend my initial comment but it the website does not allow that functionality.
