Officer, they’ve GONE BONKERS!!!
Why would anyone Fusion Summon that garbage just for a copy of Change of Heart (which is legal)?
Hmm maybe because it’s a HERO card and nostalgia for said Archtype that can be used a multiple amount of times but yeah keep calling things you don’t want to use “garbage”
Change of Heart is a Normal Spell and wears off at turn’s end; Neos Lord doesn’t wear off and triggers off something that happens very reliably given I’m reasonably sure people still send things to the GY of their own accord for a variety of reasons — even an Ash Blossom gives him cause to take something — and even gets to do it again next turn (such as your opponent’s turn) simply by sticking around.
Saying he’s bad because another card exists that can do his job for one turn misses the fact that he’ll keep doing it and won’t stop doing it, and that the Decks that can be reasonably expected to make him — y’know, HERO decks of various stripes — will happily accept that over something that they can’t search and only does the same job once.
If you want to criticize him for something that actually makes sense to criticize him for, at least grouse about him having the same statline as Neos (compared to how most of Neos’s other special Fusions — that is, the ones that aren’t just him plus one Neo-Spacian — had even a bit of extra ATK either baked in or provided by their effects) or lament that him being targetable makes him instant Imperm bait (I’d have taken targetproofing over battleproofing, personally), rather than making comparisons that read like you think Dark Law is bad because Dimensional Fissure exists, and even then those issues of Neos Lord’s don’t make him garbage, merely flawed.
Oh you know, that’s a good point. I guess all the topping Kashtira lists from this year playing Big Eye in almost every single one of their Extra Decks were real stupid huh?
Step aside Dirty Bubble 🫧 it’s Toxic Bubble’s time.
Fun Fact; Despite being the signature card of the Superme King, None of the Evil Hero fusions can be summoned with Super Polymerization. They all required to be summoned with Dark Fusion.
It’s interesting because the background of ‘Dark Contact’ (swirling energy patterns and electric bursts) is based of Super Polymerization.
They can all be summoned with Super Poly.
@ScionStorm no they can’t. There text says “Must be Special Summoned with “Dark Fusion”. Oh course cards like Dark Calling and Dark Contact are an exception. But just using Super Poly is not possible. As always the Anime lied to us 😪.
And Superme King Castle I suppose but that card was printed many years after the GX anime ended.
Evil HERO Infernal Rider lets them be Fusion Summoned by other card effects and considering it also sets a Super Poly from your Deck, I’m reasonably sure it wants you to Super Poly the Evil HERO fusions.
I’m actually looking forward to that Argostar archetype. Unfortunately, no free summons from them
