    Another full reincarnation cycle of three houses discourse

    There exist Dragons of three realms, considered the kings of their realms, whose three-way struggle has gone on and on to the breaking point. And then, there is a transcendent entity that forces these dragon kings to clash with one another. But why is it that they are forced to fight each other endlessly?

    ◈ A Fight to Give Birth to the Dragon God ◈
    This world’s creator is “Sosei Ryu-Ge Mistva”. Mistva has the three kings of dragons fighting over who will be its successor: Kaiva, Emva and Hakva. The kings compete for hegemony by expanding their territories, each seeking to rule the world. The Dragon King who ends up the victor becomes the next Mistva, and the conflict to decide a successor begins once more. In doing this, they are reincarnated through countless battles, as they try to get ever closer to the Dragon God, an existence that transcends even dragons.

    While a king wins the endless war evolves into a being that rules the world, those dragons who do not obtain the power of Mistva in their iteration of reality fall into darkness, becoming something that will eventually be erased by Mistva.

      Y’know, I’d have thought there’d be a bit more information on this archetype. Maybe they could’ve added captions that show each Ryu-Ge monster trying a different method to become the deity?

      Also, if they ever get an XYZ monster, it could be based on the Dragon Flower Tree Maitreya (the one whose 3 sermons inspired the archetype) sat under that inspired him to give the sermons in the first place.

      I wonder why this VBEX they decided to only cover two of the Terminal World 2 themes and ignore Jurrac and Gem-Knight lore updates.

        I don’t think the new Gem-Knight cards were an update for the lore.
        Every new artwork looks like something that was already told in the lore.
        – Master diamond fighting Sophia .
        – Master Diamond gives his power to Lazuli on his dying breath.

        And every new monster was a form that happened in between the already existing transformations.

      And again, the design fails the story. When Anva is the corrupted manifestation of the failed Ruyge and has to be erased by Mistva, then why is it that in gameplay it is one of your primary protectors of Mistva and your other spells?

      And why, if it is the thing being erased is it the one bringing the “Ruyge End”?

      And why is there only one Anva if there will always be 2 Ryuge that’ll fail to become the next Mistva?

        Anva feels less like a failure to create, and more like a final decider who forces the issue to resolve, damned be the consequences.
