Ok, this should be the last Contact Fusion for Rush’s Harpie.
Pretty useful effect since it requires two cards that are used a lot in Rush’s Harpie Deck.
Now, I’m curious if we’ll have Main Deck Monsters.
Hope this cards come out in the TCG. Maybe Cara and Regina will be pendulum monsters. And we will finally get a retrain on Harpie Lady Sisters.

Me too I LOVE the old school cards. I saw the one for meteor dragon and that should be red-eyes support for tcg as well. Not to mention ojamas, buster blader, etc.
I suspected 004 would be a Regina Contact Fusion due to how Regina is numbered before Cara in set order.
Overall, not too bad. Generic materials and Regina is already used in Deck for her draw and recovery. Splendid Splash is already used in the Deck as recursion and non destruction removal. Thanks to the Harpie Lady retrains and Cara Charming Dress, it is also possible to mill Splendid Splash in the GY by accident, with no way to recover it so getting a use out of that mill is really good.
Also balanced out by only being used during your Main Phase she is Special Summoned, and not being treated as Lady or Sister in the GY. This means her effect is incompatible with Hysteric Party, and she cannot be revived by Elegant Egotist. Albeit situational, Regina Splendid Armor also bypasses Egotist’s negative effect when it is used that turn, though the opponent isn’t likely going to have 1200 or less ATK monsters on the field during your turn aside from Decks like Love.
Just use multiple copies and you’re fine

You might be thinking of the Western name Regina, yeah? This is Regina as in regal, pronounced the same way as in the name Reginald, but sans the -ld. So not Regina which rhymes with Tina.
But yeah, the base material monster’s name is Regina. I’m not sure why they decided to invent an original harpie to embody the idea of regality instead of using Harpie Queen though.
