Care to explain the “sayonara” thing?
“Sayonara”, from my understanding after some looking into it, has some more weighty connotations than just as a formal phrase of parting. It comes from an older word “Sayonaru” roughly meaning “if that is how it must be” and has evolved into a sort of ‘permanent’ farewell. While it is still used in the same way we would use “Goodbye”, it does still have the more spiritual context behind it in some areas of Japan.
I can’t wait for reports of the incels getting heated over someone playing the stamp variants at events.
