We’re reaching the end people
. Soon.
The idea of cards focused on supporting Plant and Insect at the same time wasn’t even on my Bingo card for this Duel.
Funny that OuTerverSe Direct Driver appeared here, but wasn’t used at any point in the Duel (but it will appear in the next Episode)
Finally, Byugyuwazzo in Eccentric Panic is Mr. Crocker meme: This is Art. APPRECIATE IT!
This is where Tenten’s Spells from Galactica of Eternity were also played, so I suspect none of the new cards in here will be printed.
Ranran’s Fusion much like the one before her and Trap obviously won’t be either since it supports two incompatible play styles.
Endless Doom Oblivion should be printed 100% and possibly Flare Flux as well. EDO is a counterpart to Eternal Galactica Oblivion. Same stats and nearly identical materials and requirement, and its color scheme becomes EGO’s after becoming Galaxy.
Direct Driver is a counterpart to Direct Dive Dragon. Though the Level and stats are different, they are very similar looking aside from the wings. Direct Driver’s ATK is exactly the same as DDD’s ATK after its effect is activated (1200). All OTS monsters have 800 DEF except for Burst, EDL, and Byugyuwazzo (who has Linac’s ATK for its DEF since they’re both Yudias counterparts). It also has a similar effect that lets it attack directly. Direct Dive Dragon will probably be used next week since both Maddox and Zuwijo have Equip Spells. As for the universe, well, Slyphy’s wasn’t shown on screen either.
The conjecture is Seyfert is supposed to be from the Universe where Yudias’ brilliance is so bright it impales you.
To be honest, I forgot Direct Dive Dragon.
I disagree. The universe itself is entirely different from the background and makes no mention of Yudias’s splendor. I think personally it’s more akin to Diskarma Linac.
Anyway, everything seems to indicate that both Direct Driver and Sylphy Seyfert come from the same Parallel Universe: both are WIND attribute Monsters, both are based on Galaxy Monsters (used by Yudias) and both have similar details in their Appearances.
Seriously, OTS is possibly the worst galaxy-like deck they could have made. You won’t use this Oblivion in either a galaxy deck or a pyro deck, and OTS as a whole is a deck that nobody asked for.
Technically, OTS is not a Galaxy Deck in the same way that Praime is not a Galaxy Deck despite its main Boss Monsters being Galaxy Type.
OTS is more of a combination of various Monsters of different Types and Attributes that complement each other because they are “OTS” when they are in the GY: the Decks closest to that idea are Praime and Metarion.
Remember when Go Rush introduced Ritual Summons… looks like Konami forgot too…
Rituals are only used in anime by characters who have discovered parallel worlds. Oteiusu will likely use one next week, given how he has Diskarma Linac’s moon eclipsing the actual one.
No one in the GO RUSH cast can have access to Ritual Summon because… not even they know where they came from (or how to get them)
That has been a plot point that seems like it will conclude with this Arc (just like the Maximum Monsters were at the time in SEVENS. The funniest thing is that Otes was key to discovering the secret of the Maximum)
