(1) If you control a “Zubaba”, “Gagaga”, “Gogogo”, and/or “Dododo” monster and this card is in your hand or GY: You can Special Summon this card, but banish it when it leaves the field.
(2) You can banish this card from your GY; return up to 2 Xyz Monsters from your GY to the Extra Deck.

Not exactly, it’s a complement towards the previous booster pack.
This card is a retrain of “Kagetokage”. Unlike it first form, only works within the “Onomat” archetypes. It can be special summon (from hand and GY) by simply controlling a member of the other archetypes. Recycle of your XYZ monster in the GY is niche, but can be useful with a few XYZ Monsters (like “Number C”) that require Xyz summons.

It looks like there’s going to be a 4th anime archetype (JP004/5) within DOOD which is really good, I hope Konami keeps up this level of anime support.
That’s usually how these sets have been working. They have the cover card be the main focus, then there’s another character that gets about 5 or so cards (Luna w/her Ancient Fairy Dragon retrains was an exception, getting about 6-7 cards), then the previous set’s cover card deck gets a piece of support as well, then they also like to sprinkle in either some anime only cards or cards that reference the anime (like the spell card we just got revealed).
My main concern is that this card enables some of the easiest recycling of Daigusto Emeral we’ve seen in a long time. Sure, Pot of Avarice exists, but this guy is searchable with way more cards than a Normal Spell that may at best be added with Thrust.
With this, there are now more Zubaba cards that are Gagaga support than there are that aren’t. Wonder if they ever regret making Onomat a quartet instead of just sticking with the three in Guard Go.

Sweet Christmas! This card is amazing. Being all arquetypes makes it searchable as hell and left a very good field with baguska and Diagusto (or that bird that return to hand) with one card combo… wow

Yes, unfortunately.
It’s also a good discard off of onomatopaira since like dwarf it can revive itself, and is searchable by onomatopickup. Very easy card to access.
