(Quick Effect): You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 monster that mentions “Flame Swordsman” from your Deck, except a Level 6 monster.

    ①：このカードの発動時の効果処理として、デッキから「灰滅の都　オブシディム」１枚を自分か相手のフィールドゾーンに表側表示で置く事ができる。
    ②：相手フィールドの表側表示カード１枚と自分の墓地のレベル８以上の炎族・闇属性モンスター１体を対象として発動できる。対象のフィールドのカードを墓地へ送り、対象の墓地のモンスターを相手フィールドに守備表示で特殊召喚する。

    Inferno of the Ashened
    Continuous Spell Card
    When this card is activated: You can place 1 “Obsidim, the Ashened City” from your Deck face-up in either Field Zone. You can target 1 face-up card your opponent controls and 1 Level 8 or higher DARK Pyro monster in your GY; send that card on the field to the GY, and if you do, Special Summon that other monster from your GY to your opponent’s field in Defense Position. You can only use this effect of “Inferno of the Ashened” once per turn. You can only activate 1 “Inferno of the Ashened” per turn.

        But I hope in an additional card each too, expecially considering how ass is the Ashened card

        That Ashened Spell is soooooooo asss that idk if they even try to save that Deck. Searching the field Spell is not doing any good for the archetype

        In contrast, Flame Swordsman and Tistina support is actually insane which help a lot of those Deck issue in a way.

      i know it’s slim pickings for ashened players but this card is quite disappointing. going first it’s really no better than a terraforming (it would be if *popped* the card you targeted instead of *sent*), to say nothing of the fact that you need to special it from grave. for some reason you’re not allowed to special it from deck, or add it to hand so u can use it’s hand effect

      the tistina card is decent as it actually turns your field spell into a real one card starter, so it just makes the ashened card worse by comparison. they really hate us

        Yeah, we should get one more card with this support wave and it better be broken. I’m thinking one more monster or a quickspell. The biggest crime with Ashened is that you can’t search your best spell card as it has no Ashened in name. No reason for it to be this way imho. So really hoping the last card is either good or broken (and searchable). I like the super-poly centric concept of Ashened honestly but it’s super predictable and if they tribute/link off Veidos you have no plays.

      The flame swordsman stuff is obviously amazing and insanely good,but if you don’t know what tistina does (which most people don’t) you’d think the new card is mid. You’d be wrong. The tistina field spell mills a tistina on its own. The tistina field spell is searchable off of like 5 other tistina cards. As you can imagine it’s still not very good but now you can at the very least end on Varudras and maybe even god + demigod on top of that

        While there are archetypes where the limited xenolock would be a bridge too far, not that many could get “rez without banish condition when it hits the grave from anywhere, search on summon, also a lingering ATK boost for funsies” and be disappointed.

        It is Ryzeal Ex power level of the card lol. Is a starter AND extender as well is really broken

      So we flame swordsman player just got a new extender at the cost of a card in the ED… Well, i as a extender is… FINE, but we can’t really summon anything food from the main deck we only have 3 targets really, i want something new, something better.

        It’s a decently good card. It can fish out Fighting Flame Swordsman in a pinch if you need it, but it’s also a one-stop shop to Mirage Swordsman (which makes sense, since this is a retrain of Dark Flare Knight, and Mirage Swordsman is a retrain of Mirage Knight). It also gives you a way to sack Salamandra FFD from the hand which I feel like is a small weakness of Flame Swordsman decks (although that could just be me).
