It is possible that the author wants to imply that meaning. “Elvennotes” itself is written in many different ways through the cards, but not with this particular word.

I love the reference
Multiple mentions of an Erlking, which is usually a sinister kind of elf lord that kidnaps children and the like, has me believe the deck is gonna get a magician’s souls target at some point (a dark 6, doesn’t actually have to, or probably even want to, syngergize with souls ).
Perhaps it isn’t quite the case, but it seems as if Elvennotes had more conceptual detail given it than the DoomZ group did? Or maybe it’s because we didn’t visit the DoomZ homeland?
