You can only use the (1) and (2) effects of this card’s name each once per turn.
(1) You can target 1 face-up monster on your field; Special Summon this card from the hand, and if you do, change the target monster to face-down Defense Position, but for the rest of this turn the target monster cannot change its battle position.
(2) During your Main Phase: You can reduce this card’s Level by 2 or 4, and if you do, Special Summon “Krawler” monsters with different names whose total Levels are equal to the Levels reduced from your hand, Deck or GY in either face-up Defense Position or face-down Defense Position.
TL Note: Its name is most likely derived from the soma, the large end of the nerve cell containing the nucleus.
This term in turn is derived from the Greek word σῶμα (“body”), which may explain the unusual way this card’s name is written; ソゥ, or “so” with a small “u”, would either be a very odd way of writing “su”, or possibly an approximation of a vowel sound somewhere between “o” and “u”, similar to how the Greek word uses an omega rather than the “normal O” of omicron.
If meant to be read as Suma, the name could also come from the Brain Mapping software SUMA.
