I always love seeing how they reimagine the DM-era cards for the retrains. Employing Contact Fusion for Gate Guardian combinations is amusing since the Paradox Brothers dueled Jaden Yuki in their GX return. XD
You’re a casual. The original series manga and its anime adaptation has been doing contact fusion before GX. Exodia, Gate Guardian, Magnet Warriors, XYZ are all gattai monsters.
