Last February 15 was a big day — a non-sanctioned big event was held at Courtside in Robinson’s Galleria, the homebase of Yu-Gi-Oh Philippines. In preparation for this competition, the usual Friday, Saturday and Sunday Pods were preempted (except for Anaheim which is always held on the other side of the country). Interested in finding out more? Follow my lead.
This big event, being non-sanctioned, is non-ranked, and has an “Open” policy — any and all original Yu-Gi-Oh cards, in any language, were allowed to be used. This is one of a few events that means to cater to the still TCG-using Filipino populace that cannot enter Konami Asia’s sanctioned Tournaments. The Tournament followed the OCG banlist, held in a Swiss format with a Top 8 cut.
So after I post the Anaheim Pod result, the Courtside Open Tournament Top 8 Decklists will follow. Enjoy.
