There is no rule saying QCSRs must be competitive. As long as they represent the game in some way over its lifespan they are fair game.
The main rival’s ace, the rival’s situationally meta card, the lynchpin to one of the few GX archetypes to get a modern revival, the S3 deuteragonist’s original ace, and the card that crushed Bastion Misawa’s reputation in the anime all deserve this too.
They made old (and probably not used now) cards like Honest, Green Gadget, and SCAPEGOAT into QCSR. And that’s not getting into the overly specific stuff like Exosister Pax, Ragnaraika Bloom, Toon Kingdom, and a pair of monsters that need 25 cards in your GV to even summon, much less have stats.
Cyber Valley sees play in contemporary Edison lmao.
