So let’s say I turn marbles into a rail gun.
A theme originally used by the Duel King himself. It’s a theme that specializes in combining together. Magnet Warrior has grown by utilizing new + and – Tactics.

Duoterion stonks
Oh so it is crossover support! I love how they did that
Wait, am I missing something? I’ve read these cards three time and can’t for the life of me figure out how Duoterion ties into any of this.
@Bombchu, Duoterion is a direct “Discard itself to search” searcher for Bonding Spell/Trap Cards. And Magnet Bonding is an extremely powerful, versatile card for this Deck.
Imperion Magnum finally is playable
Finally a GOOD way to summon the Magna Combo
maybe next decade, fire dragon bros
who the hell even likes this stuff.
More of us than you’d think. Better some cool anime archetypes than more weird loli stuff like Live Twin and Traptrix or waifu slop like Diabelle
Me and my homies like it.
@Yugiboomer: get out of my freaking game old man. I will play my waifus and you can play goat or whatever you play in retirement homes these days. Maybe try mtg, they have the office cards now. surely an old man like you is interested that or star trek.
@Yugi-Boomers are cringe
say it
cope or seethe
say it
@Yugi-Boomers are cringe: You realize that the ones, that you all call cringe are the ones who made this game succeed enough that it still exists today. So just be a little bit more respectful and stay quiet when someone of the old days expresses his/her joy over support for their valued archetype. It’s not your game – it’s the game of the creators and their loyal fanbase since over 30 years.
@ZiB I’d respect them more if they ONLY expressed joy for what they like about the game, instead of also tearing down what other people like that they don’t, while at it. I’m also happy when an archetype I like gets support, but you don’t see me blasting another one while at it, let alone making the general complaints of a yugi-boomer.
Shut up coochy
Everybody in this comment chain is responding to the most obvious bait in the world lol
Maybe they will randomly remember “Iron chains” exist and suddenly they get all the support they needed including a nasty boss monster that resembles that Warden everyone hates that tried to cheat yusei into losing the duel in 5ds. It’s anyone’s ball park really. Now where the F*** is that Fire dragon that Bastion had in the anime’s opening that never came to be?
Trolls don’t even try these days, calling Live Twins as lolis, seriously? Their online form are a noodly chibi toon style, and their offline form are obvious adult anime woman. More people these days are becoming art style literate I swear.
Mfs really going slop I like > slop I don’t like as if it still isn’t slop.
Well, while I’m glad to see that Magnet Warrior Sigma Plus and Magnet Warrior Sigma Minus will finally be released, I feel sad of the fact we’re going to have to wait for Magnet Warrior Omega Minus to be released. Also, the other new Magnet-related monsters are a surprise, so that’s OK with me. Until then, here’s to hoping we see Magnet Warrior Omega Minus and Plasma Warrior Eitom released in the near future, so goodbye!
I am extremely pleased with this new wave of support for Magnet Warriors, including finally introducing Bastion’s long-overdue Magnet Warriors from the show. (And finally having a working strategy for using the OG Magna Warriors, including their Fusion.)
I do agree that I wish more room could have been allocated here for more of his Magnet Warrior Deck, including buffed versions of his Spell and Trap, along with the aforementioned Plasma Warrior Eitom and Magnet Warrior Omega Minus. We know there’ll be “Rivals and Heroes” cards in the the 2 different iterations of the usual early-year OCG rarity collection, so hopefully at least these two final missing Monsters will see the light of day there. 🙂

Can’t remember the last time an older Gen card was released in a main series…
They stop one day and then, one day dark corridor (dune) came in a main booster. but those are very limited exceptions. I belive the anime and manga support sets are going to be discontinued
@ Jose Piccardo: Premium Packs are still going strong, which has always long been the source of most Manga Card releases.
For the designated annual OCG Anime Card release product, it seems what has gone through a few names (Collector’s Pack/Collection Pack/Animation Chronicles) is currently being folded into and combined with another annual OCG product, the early-year rarity/foil reprint product. Time will tell what the future holds beyond that, though.
Wait, so the Adamancipator Researcher reprint was tied to this instead of dedicated Adamancipator support !?
Yup
So they print the one Magnet Misawa *didn’t* use in the anime – Omega Plus – as a promo, but then in BPRO they print both Sigmas and some new stuff but *not* Omega Minus.
… Weh?
(Happy to see this stuff tho. It’s cool!)
It appears Omega Minus is being withheld for later. Possibly in the products that comes out February and March that are both said to include cards from the show. (Plasma Warrior Eitom and a couple of Bastion’s Magnet Warrior Deck backrow are also missing, so I hope those will see the light of day there, too.)
The new Fusion has ‘Plasma’ in its name and looks eerily similar to Eitom. Whilst it wasn’t Magnet support in the anime, I can see Konami making it so IRL and then just tacking its anime effect onto the end.
“The new Fusion has ‘Plasma’ in its name and looks eerily similar to Eitom. Whilst it wasn’t Magnet support in the anime, I can see Konami making it so IRL and then just tacking its anime effect onto the end.”
I likewise assume they’ll go about it that way with Plasma Warrior Eitom. Bastion even climbed into it once using Conduction Warrior Linear Magnum Plus Minus, so they could use that as an angle somehow.
It will be weird to test those cards without the promos (especially the level 7!) since we don’t know when we’ll get those, but I’m sure this makes Yugi’s Magnet Warriors at least a bit more playable as well. The spell alone
… improves the deck by quite a bit (accidentally hit “Post Comment”).
Yeah, Magnet Bonding is absolutely putting in overtime cohering the Deck, including/particularly Yugi’s Magnet Warrior cards and their legacy support from the ARC-V era Structure Deck they got.
level 7?
Conduction Warrior Linear Magnum ±, a level 7 effect monster. It’s a free special summon that foolishes two level 4 Magnet Warriors, making it a starter or extender depending on the cards sent.
This support is actually generically useful to summon any Rank 4 that requires 2 or even 3 generic materials without needing your normal summon!
Foolish “Magnet Warrior Σ-” and “Epsilon The Magnet Warrior” with “Conduction Warrior Linear Magnum ±”, special summon Epsilon with Magnet Warrior Σ-‘s effect, Epsilon foolishes Ω+ and special summons Σ-, Ω+ destroys Linear Magnum (which returns to your hand afterward) and specials itself to the field.
That leaves you with 3 Level 4 Earth Rock monsters. Linear Magnum is super searchable as well – the new “Magnet Bonding” can search it and “Duoterion” can search it as well, which is in turn searchable by Fossil Dig or even Oviraptor if you don’t need your normal summon otherwise, meaning you got essentially up to 12 copies of Linear Magnum in your deck (15 with Oviraptor). And nothing locks you into anything here. The downside is, of course, having to play several bricks/garnets that, outside of Magnet Warrior decks, don’t help you in any way aside from this combo but I think in some decks this might very well find a place.
Also, just as an addendum – I love how Linear Magnum legit acts as a catalyst here, by the chemical definition. It makes this “reaction” between otherwise rather inert components happen and remains unaltered in the end, being put back into your hand where it was before the entire combo.
Just realized that this lets you search any Level 4 monster in the game before committing to your normal summon, since you can summon Alambertian with 3 materials… yeah, I think this might actually kinda break Magnet Warriors and make them into a generic engine we’ll see in a lot of decks, despite the 3 bricks you have to play.
I hope I’m not overlooking any locks here but I’ve looked into the combo several times and I don’t see any.
Where is my boy Omega Minus?
Yeah. I’m also not happy about Magnet Warrior Omega Minus not being in Burst Protocol, but I’m hoping we’ll see it released in the near future along with Plasma Warrior Eitom.
These cards improve the existing Yugi Magnet Warrior core by adding to their strategy. That Magnet Quick-Play is really good.
Droll and Ash still kill the Deck though
Yummy mitsurugi will break this deck with 1 sky striker card
“All opponent’s monsters must attack, if able, while you control an EARTH monster.”
“Once per turn, when an attack is declared between 2 EARTH monsters: You can negate that attack.”
I’m fine with this as an emulation of the plus/minus effect as long as there’s a way to change-
“Monsters on the field become EARTH.”
Alright then, I spoke too soon. Ally of Justice support when? I understand there needs to be effects that interact with main deck Magna Warriors except I still furrow my brow as that never should’ve been a thing to begin with, all Magna Warriors should be violet.
Most might not know but the two Lv4 magnet monsters should have been in a animation chronicles instead of a core set, cuz they appeared in the anime (Bastion vs Tanya), so I feel like them being here is a waste of space, I thought they looked familiar, who else feels the same?
No, we haven’t had anime imports in a main set since that perfomage card 84 years ago. It’s long past due.
Heh, I just noticed something – the new fusion monster punishes opponents who play Dominus Impulse HARD. x)
If Plasma Magnum excluded “Magnet” traps just to exclude Phantom Knights of Wrong Magnetring to accommodate the tcg then Arthur’sclosedfist.meme
really good page link name, props for that one neoark
New Dino archetype, where ?
