Sato’s latest manga from the official Yu-Gi-Oh!.jp website reveals a bit about the manga.
It’s a multiple chapter serial by Masashi Satou, artist of the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s manga.
Unlike previous manga in V Jump, it will be a story intentionally including cards from the real card game.
The protagonist is a boy named 尚磨 (Shouma). His name is meant to give off the vibe of “Unpolished”, like an uncut diamond or jewel.
He will apparently be using various Decks, and the first Deck he’ll be using is “Tenyi”.
Based on the artwork available, it seems it may also be set in the setting of the video game “Saikyo Card Battle”, which was a Japan exclusive free downloadable game for the Nintendo 3DS.
Chapter 1 is in the August 2019 issue of V Jump, on sale June 21st, 2019.
