Assuming that Magnum ± isn’t a standalone, it will likely mean that at least Ω－and Σ＋will be here which is almost a third of the pack already. This bodes poorly for the Alchemy Beasts…

I got what I wanted (Bastion Misawa‘s Magnet Warriors, or at least one of them!) and getting Alchemy Beasts on top of that?! Is this a dream set or what!?
Well, David, I’m also happy to hear that Bastion’s Magnet Warriors will be released and it’s among the list of cards I want to see released in the future, starting with Joey Wheeler’s Landstar cards, Rafael’s Backup Gardna, Alister’s Gorlag, Rebecca Hawkins’ Ruby Dragon, Diamond Head Dragon and Adamantine Sword Revival, Bastion’s Plasma Warrior Eitom, Chazz Princeton’s Beetron cards, Sumo King Dog, Recycle Rhinobot, Net Resonator and Elemental HERO Clay Guardian. All-in-all, in the end, let me hear what you have to say on all this and take care!

To be honest, I am looking forward to seeing Amelda’s Air Fortress Ziggurat or Valon’s Armor cards more than anything else. Thinking about it now, I might be the only one at the moment…
i feel like Blair deserves to have her cards printed if we are doing Banner’s alchemy cards.
I only want her Mystic Revolution deck. I’m still curious what the never revealed Mystic Magician and Mystic Swordsman would look like.
My mind was blown to learn Rei has unused lines in DLs for Mystic stuff. Like plus minus and alchemy more than 3 slots are needed once again so the only hope is to connect Mystic to Konami fanfiction somehow.
Mystic has 4 anime cards total. 5 if you count Spike Egg that never had it’s effect revealed so it isn’t essential for initial release. Mystics for Magician and Knight were mentioned but never played and could easily just be slipped into a core set for cross promotion. Last year they gave us a game original Allure Queen monster after releasing those anime cards from Vrains.
They can just word it like neo new metalmorph. Tribute the baby to get the adult with a matching type. I still think about the final field having multiple mystic eggs. What was the deep meaning behind this? Can’t say because Rei’s remaining screen time was relegated to spamming sheep tokens, alas. There should be lots of ocg original eggs and eggcellent puns. I still think about what eyesight was needed to find out Spike Egg’s type.
Just yesterday there was a post on the front page of r/yugioh asking for Daitokuji’s Alchemy cards.
Well, it’s more than the last 2 or maybe 3(I forget what Story of WHITE was) made to order products. But with two themes that are pretty big it’s concerning.

Alchemy Beast and Magnet Warriors Plus Minus likely won’t get a lot of new cards but these respective cards being standalones and being changed for the main game much like the original GX anjme promo cards were
Easiest way I could see Bastion’s cards working is that they ditch the whole “Plus/Minus” monster type gimmick and make it so they support Magnet Warriors more generally, with a unique effect to make the opponent’s monsters “magnetized” (i.e treated as Magnet Warriors) so they can’t and/or must attack the new Magnet Warrior cards.
Definitely not the biggest fan of this approach. It’s historically caused these cards that get this treatment to become divorced from the themes they were used in and the Duelists who used them.
My only hope now regarding this is that these cards from larger themes that are seemingly getting printed out of context with the rest of their themes (Chaos Distill is probably not getting any of its Alchemy Beast cards in tandem, alas) will be designed in such ways as to be conscientious of and futureproofed for said larger themes that will come our way in the not too distant future.
I wish this was going to have more than 10 new cards in it. GX still has so many cards trapped in its Anime and Manga borders that it could legit fill up a full pack of new cards by itself.
This pack is labeled Osiris Red. This likely means we’ll get 2 more packs based on Ra Yellow and Obelisk Blue. Total 30 GX cards. I was hoping they’d throw some GX anime cards in the core sets since GX will be the only card anime airing and the first time a card anime for the main game has aired since Rush Duel took over.
ENOUGH of having to wait 1 to 2 decades for anime themes to get the gimmick/effects they should’ve had to begin with. Make anti-deck build pack edition with Plus/Minus and Alchemy getting 8-10 cards each or don’t bother. The last thing I want is another Mist King or No. 44 fiasco.

There still hasn’t been a Animation Chronicles announced for this year yet. So this could be all we get for getting new cards from the anime for this year.
29 new cards was too intense for people to handle! Gotta tone it down with incomplete themes being even more incomplete so people can breathe easier.
