I would assume tariffs but not sure how a two week delay would change anything.

Curiously, it seems this is a First World Problem for many players. Meanwhile in Japan, for many Japanese players, especially notable in Rush Duel, there is never a delay. ITS TCG-OVER!

The Aki deck will be the first female anime character inspired deck since Mai’s Harpies got Lord of the Storm SD.
I’d like to see a Jaden/Chazz/Alexis box set. Chazz deck could collect all of the Armed Dragon cards Konami been releasing sporadically. Although, with all character decks, I’d rather see them get a handful of unreleased anime cards or appropriate new cards over being purely a reprint product. Marketing is probably just using the budget that was going to the Speed Duel Box Sets production before for this product, though, which doesn’t account for R&D of new cards.
At least it was only delayed a couple of weeks; the worst thing would have been if it had been a month or if there had been no set date at all.
Yeah a couple of weeks is nothing and even might be beneficial to them somewhat as it’s closer to the holidays.
i knew this was happening because there hadnt been any reveals about the decks yet.

Considering “The Chronicles Deck” would had been way too much of a close release window next to this 5Ds deck set… As such, I am not shocked they decided to delay it in order to not step on their own feet from overlapping the sales of both separate premade deck sets.
question: is the included Yusei deck basically the “Structure Deck: Power of Fellows” that got released in Japan?
