Note: This card’s name appears to be a combination of Nya (Japanese onomatopoeia for ‘meow’) and Prionailurus, a genus of small spotted wild cats in Asia.

@Fefut- Exactly, they have effectively become a ‘handtrap tax’ you have to pay to have the ability to compete..
I highly doubt this will see any consistent main deck play, which viable deck needs to summon from grave or banish more than once

Fuwalos is like 1000 yen and Purulia under 500, it’s far from unreasonable.
It’s only unreasonable in the TCG and, I mean, when has the TCG never had insane prices on cards that should be $25 at most?

We got every general location where you can Special Summon from barring situational places like the Spell and Trap Zone.
Didn’t we just get new Trap monsters and earlier this year monsters that become Continuous Spells, new Union monsters and Pendulum that summons itself from the Pendulum zone?
3 Mulcharmy monsters, all 3 in the elemental Attributes; just missing fire. Will Fire draw cards off of searching and foolishing maybe?
That’s a cool idea honestly, although it kind of already exists with shared ride (though it is a spell & therefore worse)
Searching, or it’ll cover missing things, like summoning tokens, monsters from the S/T zone, and set monsters.
I mean, Purulia, Fuwalos, and now Nyalus all already exists in Maxx “C”.
My theory is that fire will be that, fire, or fire and light and dark will be Shared Ride-esque effects that draw you cards when your opponent tutors.

If we ever get a FIRE monster from this theme, I bet it’ll cover you Special Summoning to the opponent’s field and/or on the opponent’s turn in getting draw 1s so Kaiju or Kaiju-like monsters, monster Token summons like Girsu Orcust Mekk-Knight or Ojama Duo or Trio, Bystials or any handtrap that summons itself, Quick Effect Grave & Banishment summons, and monsters like Silent Wobbly would get covered.
another avenue that hasnt been covered is special summoning from S/T. Purulia already works against kaijus, etc. I’ll give you tokens though

Like Purulia it’s more a side deck option for specific decks. Fuwaross covers most use cases and people are insane if you’re running 3-ofs for all 3 in anything that isn’t Tenpai. I can’t even really think of a deck that summons more from the GY than the hand/deck/ED.
I’m sure some exist but they’re not relevant enough to really tech this card in over a more generic hand trap

I don’t think this one is anywhere near as strong as the other two though; the scope of what it covers is just way too narrow.
Like, I don’t think this will even see side-deck play.
Only as a tech option if a deck like Horus or similar is meta and your deck struggles against it. Will not cost as much as Fuwaross, but I’m sure it won’t be cheap.
Are people really willing to play all three of these in one deck? Are you guys like sick in heads?
Enjoy your drawing wrong Mulcharmy against a deck that do little to no special summon from zone covered by it. This entire “archetype” is a noob trap that will filter multiple people that will get into the “lulul 12 Maxx C” meme instead of learning how to play the game.

I don’t think this card will be all that crazy, at least compared to Fuwalos. Banish decks like Maliss have way more to worry about (Lancea), and you’re not likely to play this vs GY summon decks if you’re also playing Shifter. It’s very cute though!

I hope that one of the last monsters in the set is The Fire Hex-Sealed Fusion. Between the two Flame Swordsman fusions from last months wpp and this set’s 2 FIRE fusions that should hopefully be enough recently for a new Hex-Sealed to spawn.
What’s the next Mulcharmy gonna do? Let you draw a card every time your opponent either draws a card or adds a card from their deck to their hand?

You must not be familiar with some of these decks or not actually reading the card. Floowandereeze does not actually summon from the banishment, only add. Ryzeal does not need to summon from the gy and if they do it is only maybe twice.
Just one more left for Mulcharmy: One that deals with Special Summoning from the backrow.
Ban maxx “c” and limit or semi-limit each mulcharmy.
Can someone tell me how these cards are actually good? Fuwalos is supposedly the new Maxx C and a $130 card. But if your playing against a combo deck, they can just ignore all those draws, end on a 2-3 card board, and make you shuffle all the cars you drew back into the deck. $400 for 3 cards that are actively bad against the current meta? No thank you.
