May everything become a machine, forever and ever.
SUDA-JP050 機械仕掛けの騎士 Clockwork Knight
LINK-1 EARTH Machine Link Effect Monster
ATK 500
Link Arrows: Left
Materials: 1 non-Link Machine monster with 1000 or less original ATK
You can only use the (1)st and (2)nd effect of this card’s name each once per turn.
(1) If this card is Link Summoned: You can send 1 face-up Continuous Spell you control to the GY; add 1 “Clockwork Night” from your Deck to your hand.
(2) You can target 1 Machine monster with 1000 or less ATK in your GY; Tribute 1 other Machine monster, and if you do, Special Summon the targeted monster in Defense Position.
Note: Yes, the card’s name is a play on the Continuous Spell Card with the very similar name.

yep clock
Not my cup of tea, but really digging the artwork
The Link 1 that search the field spell (The Link 1 that search the field spell)
Yeah is a continuous spell but come on
I mean, even LONG before field spells stopped being highlander, they were already being designed to just be searchable continuous spells that also have their own zone.
“It’s about time”
Wrong, it’s about the game.
You lose.
Wonder if robotic knight/machine king cards will get more support and/or a redesign.
More support for the Tactical Try Decks. Yesterday we had the field spell for Eldlich, today we have this for CyDra, and tomorrow should be something for Live Twins.
Meklord is about to Super Brr! Due the having in house continuous spell and Zero Atk Starter Monster. Let’s go
@John Fortnite I thought Golden Land – El Dorado was the Eldlich Field Spell. There’s yet another?!
Cue Nesbitt’s theme
lol, bruh you really dropping the dub name of a filler villain?
A Filler villain who literally used clockwork night.
Cyber dragon support.
Chimeratech Fortress Dragon: laughs hysterically
Ancient Gear go brrrrr
It will be so funny to see how the mistranslated german Clockwork Night (translated as Clockwork Knight!) will be influencing this cards german name since the german plural for Knight and Knights is IDENTICAL. Yes, Clockwork Night is called “Uhrwerk-Ritter” in german, as should this new card once it gets translated.
wtf another narf talking about languages on this website WHO ARE YOU
Very normal thing to say, completely unprovoked.
They gonna just roll with the joke and call this one “Uhrwerk-Nacht”, lmao.
Maybe they could call it “The Clockwork Knight” in German.
When are we getting Recycling Plant from the anime? It’s a Miracle Fusion for any Machine Fusion.
And yes I know Overload Fusion exist but that only works for “DARK” machine Fusions.
You can easily summon this card by linking off a Panzer Dragon summoned via instant fusion if for some reason you can’t make room for machines with 1000 or less atk in your main deck
Considering the Continuous Spell is only really used in Cyber Dragons, I don’t think them not having a Machine with 1000 or less ATK will be a problem.
So we are just looping scrap recycler
Card Tropper anyone?
Deskbot approved 😎
well done konami now give me a maindeck lv6 battelwasp or a link 1 insect.
Scrap Recycler looping intensifies.
Cyber Dragon core is now a 1 card combo
not a good one, mind, but hey
Ah, a Link Monster whose name is based on “Clockwork Night” mistranslated German name. An “Ancient Gear” support?
Clockwork Night was Nezbitt’s card. His deck master was based around Machine King. I think would have rather just had Machine King support over this though…
*his deck was based around Machine King. His deck master was originally the king’s Robotic Knight until he fused it with the king to make the fusion monster Perfect Machine King.
Ah, ok. Thanks for the info!
The final Link monster in set order and it is still support for a specific Deck and not pack filler.
So we are already at Traps, Spells, and now Link monsters being intentional legacy support.
Pack filler as we know it may finally be gone.
@N- I certainly hope so my friend.
Seria mejor fuera de luz para poder usarlo como mateaial de Heosvarog el Amanecer Mecánico
Even a broken Clockwork Knight is right twice a day.
@NARFNra well, Narf is a nickname I got from my obsession with Pinky & the Brain almost 20 years ago. Narf is specifically the sound Pinky makes (in the German dub that is, I don’t know the other versions).
I will play this in Cydra if they give a new support for them, 1 card starter for cyberdark or cydra.
Honestly I forgot that the spell card was a card. Never seen it played.
Machine Deck users have been using Clockwork Night, though. It’s a searcher for EARTH Machines, so any Deck that uses those can benefit from its search via Foolish Burial Goods. Then there’s Cyber Dragon, which can immediately leverage the Type-changing effect into perpetual frontrow boardwipes. Plus, changing Types can casually hinder themes that rely on specific Types being on the field for one reason or another.
Even though the card hasn’t been part of any meta Decks so far (to my awareness, at least), Machine theme users have been using Clockwork Night since its release.
Why is Nezbitt getting a Link monster?
For the same reasons why Penguins are synchro archetype.
Penguins are Synchro because we had the one Penguin from Arc-V that happened to be a tuner for a completely different deck. So they just gave penguins their own random Synchro.
You’re Nezbitt? Are your colleagues Nezbitt?
(I hate links)
Those effects aren’t worth using a single monster for.
Rerelease of the Continuous Spell though?
Sure konami … sure…
Chimeratech Dragon is Love. Chimeratech Dragon is Life.
Now I’m very sad clockwork night is otp
Give me Chimeratech Ogres. WIND fusions.
Yay! Robotic Knight, Steel Ogre Grotto, and Machine King support! 😀
(I’m serious, this is awesome)
Anyone else expecting Nesbitt to get a new wave of support, I know that he was a filler vilan, but a redesigned machine king/robotic knight theme would be interesting, if not a true theme at least a series of machines that are genaric and good to support machines.
We already have 4 Machine King monsters. Flavor text in several monsters mention him. and the Heavy Mech Support monsters are there for him. And then there’s E.M.R.
We now have a second set of cards with the same pronunciation. First two were Raimei and Rai-Mei.
… that second effect… Once Clockwork Night is active, can you tribute your opponent’s machines to use Clockwork Knight’s second effect?
Unless specified by card effect, you can only tribute monsters on your side of the field.
…I suppose you could do it if you would Soul Exchange or some monster stealing card into this combo but tbh why would yo do that?
If Im not mistaken it needs to say “anywhere on the field” otherwise, no
Never expected Soichiro cards to get support but here we are
ONLY FOR CYBER DRAGONS! AMAZING!
