● When your opponent activates a monster effect, if they control more cards than you do: Special Summon 1 “Red Dragon Archfiend” or “Hot Red Dragon Archfiend” from your Extra Deck or GY, and if you do, negate that effect, and if you do that, destroy that monster.

The support for Yusei’s Deck that justifies the existence of the Structure Deck (ironically, it doesn’t synergize well with the Junk Warrior strategy)
Over Tuning is decent for easier access to Soul or Darkness Resonator without using your normal. It has situational applicability in Kewl Tune.
Heartbeat is searchable in theme but the monster negate is too specific in your opponent needing to control more cards than you do
Meister is Yusei’s answer to Darkness Resonator and gives you access to Jet without your normal.
Armor is searchable with Meister or Jet
That trap is to play around the deck’s weakness; mulcharmy/droll/nibiru
So over tuning just possibly bridges any synchro deck wow

I really like those junk cards
The Junk duo is really strong as it provides Yusei.dek with more desperately needed non-Tuner extension power. Sure, we could use they mention Junk Warrior to be synergetic with the Structure Deck but they’re still strong support regardless.

It’s not. The restriction of controlling a Tuner and Synchro lock is enough to balance it out. Halq would be unbanned if it had these limits.

I don’t understand this here. Over Tuning is a card that, if you’re gonna play it, it’s gonna be at the maximum available copies, which in this case is 3. And it being conventionally unsearchable is more the reason anyone using it would use all copies available.
Still waiting for Junk support with equips after all the focus manga Yusei had on equips.
Over Tuning is perfectly balanced as nowadays every tuner and their mother can be treated as a non-tuner and a bunch of things can be summoned without a tuner, whatever it takes to trivialize the synchro mechanic.
Even to this day, neither of these things are as common as this comment makes it seem. Especially the latter of Synchros that functionally don’t require Tuners. That’s still very much rare.

Hmm..Champion’s Pulse could possibly be good alongside Simochi. Dealing 1k to your opponent and ending their BP is a nice little idea.
The second effect is obviously better, though.
A Trap that has no real use going first OR second, is a new low for an archetypal Trap.
Overtuning is absurd because it opens so many windows in a Synchro-only deck. I’ve needed this card for years. And the junks will be very welcome, and now we just have to wait for more great ST junks lol
I’m a bit surprised they didn’t include another Fairy Tale Field Spell. But, then again, they didn’t follow up on Spring, either.
The Champion trap could be an interesting tech in the future.
Maybe some stun deck that needs some extra bodies but also appreciates negation and/or battle phase protection for a Barrier Statute or something.
Over tuning is insane what the hell??
Junk Meister is a one-card Speeder without committing the normal summon, thus proving that they never cared about balancing around the latter. We already knew this, but it’s good to have confirmation.
You know, Junk Armor, you could expand on your protection by ALSO INCLUDING JUNK IN THEIR ORIGINAL NAMES!!!!

Am I crazy or is Over Tuning one of the most broken cards I’ve seen in a while??? Am I reading this wrong or is this a 3 of in every Synchro deck?
