[EFFECT] Choose 2 LIGHT Dragon monsters in your GY and shuffle them into the Deck, then, you can choose 1 “Blue Tooth Burst Dragon” in your GY and Special Summon it to your field face-up.

Quite considerate of them to have done away with the requirement of needing the opponent to control a Level 7 or higher Monster to use.
I wonder if there is a functional distinction between a part of a card’s text being a Requirement vs an Effect? Like, what difference does it make to have moved the shuffling of the 2 LIGHT Dragons from the Graveyard into the Deck from being part of the Spell’s Requirement to being part of the Spell’s Effect?
You can choose to just shuffle the cards back in and not have to revive Blue Tooth.
instead of [requirement] always wish they using “timing” like vg/wixoss (auto/act/cont). [requirement] none is sounds silly.
In Rush, Requirement and Effect must both be satisfied for a card to activate.
For example, you cannot activate Sevens Road Magician’s requirement if you do not have monsters in your GY already. If the card has a then,” in its effect, only the text prior to that is required before you activate the card.
In the anime, Blue Tooth Reconnect can only be activated if you have a Blue Tooth Burst Dragon in your GY, making it nearly useless. Now the effect to Special Summon Blue Tooth is optional, and all you need are 2 LIGHT Dragons in your GY to shuffle into the Deck. So this card allows you to control your GY and return desired LIGHT Dragons back into the Deck that you don’t want in the GY.

In Hybridrive you wanna your monsters in gy no field
And high tech red boot is superior
So the card lost valor because use Bluetooth
Decent upgrade to Hi-tech Dragons but I’m also hoping Red Boot gets a card like this too. I really like running the dragons together but Blue Tooth is definitely the favourite child of the two.
It’s not. Blue Tooth is nigh unplayable and didn’t get a Darkness fusion.
However… Red Boot has more uses in some Decks while Blue Tooth is more niche and only works under certain strategies/conditions.
Not to mention that Red Boot had a Darkness Fusion Monster, but Blue Tooth didn’t get an extra form (although the latter may be a reference to GX where the Duelist who used Red-Eyes Monsters is also influenced by Darkness)
Keep in mind I say “favourite” because of all the support it gets in comparison (to the point it’s a big part of a whole new archetype). I know Red Boot is better
But just the same, Red Boot did not get two Fusions with Jointech Rex and a Fusion with Tamabot, so you have more flexibility with using it in the Hybridrive engine. Since Yuhi is the deuteragonist of Season 3, he will get more support over the coming year to make Blue Tooth even more valuable.
It’s been a while since the last decent support for High Tech Dragon. Curiously, this Spell Card is one of the most recent that appeared in the Anime by Yuamu (and received a change that is a Buff in general to prevent the Spell Card from being unplayable)
Although this makes me wonder if we will get any Monster that can acquire the name “Blue Tooth Burst Dragon” in the future.
This card is more useful in High Tech Dragon than Hybridrive, though this card is useful for returning your Blue Tooth Fusions and Lizard back to the Deck, as those don’t want to be in the GY.
Most notably, the effect to Special Summon Blue Tooth is now optional, and you no longer need the opponent to control a Level 7+ monster to activate this card. As cards in Rush need to meet both the requirement and effect to activate, and effect text after “then, you can” is optional, you don’t need Blue Tooth in the GY to use this anymore.
